Room was excellent. Looked recently refurbished. Really good value for money. Centrally located. They had ran out of a lot of stuff on the menu ... but during these uncertain times this is getting kinda normal. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a nice cheap stay.

My husband, two young children and I went to the Greyhound, Bridport for lunch yesterday. We had to leave our lunch half way through as the constant flies landing on our food got too much for us. We had never seen so many flies in a restaurant. It was maddening to have to keep batting them away and also felt very unhygienic. I went on my own to speak with the duty manager, he dismissively said that they are aware of it but flies in restaurants are to be totally accepted and they don’t see it as a problem. He went on to be argumentative, sarcastic, tried to be intimidating (weirdly tried to give me a intimidating stares/dirty looks), it was the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. It’s as though the boy forgot he worked there and just wanted an argument. His behaviour was bizarre and terrible in equal measure. I was reduced to tears and left the pub visibly crying in front of the whole pub. Avoid at all costs!!

We booked two nights at The Greyhound for the start of our little road trip and couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The drinks and food were reasonably priced as whetherspoons are. The room was amazing, the bed was huge and the room was clean. There was a little negative and that was the cleanliness in the dining and drinking area, there was a lot of food bits on the floor but for the price of everything we couldn’t really score them down for that. There is a car park called East street which is very close by and good value for money. We would recommend this hotel, in a brilliant location. Thank you.

The hotel we found was amazing the room very spacious..the bed was really comfy and the shower was amazing. The only let down was the staff in the pub were over worked not enough of a team to cope with the current situation. We also came down into the pub for breakfast to be told we had to walk around and queue up and wait to be seated which we thought was wrong as we were already in. We went somewhere else. But all in all very pleasant stay you just need more floor staff to get the drinks out as we waited 20mins for our drinks altho we could see them sitting on the bar!!
