The hosts of Broadlands, Lisa and Darren, are friendly and welcoming. We were offered tea and homemade cake on arrival. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the facilities you need. This included a small fridge with fresh milk and water. There were also USB ports to allow safe charging of mobile devices. The sea view towards the hills...

After a long day's walk on the SW Coastal path from Seaton it was wonderful to arrive at Broadlands. We were greeted with tea and cake and shown to our room which had a picture window view of the Dorset hills. The accommodation is so attractive and well designed and the hospitality is just right - warm but unobtrusive. There's...

A warm and friendly welcome, Well-appointed room, First class facilities, with far reaching views to the sea and Golden Cap.. Made to feel at home from the start. Having lived locally myself many years ago, it was good to retrace my happy playground. Highly recommend this B&B. Will be revisiting again in the future. Thankyou

This summer I walked the entire South West Coast Path to raise money for FORCE and Over and Above, two South West charities that support cancer patients and their families. Lisa at Broadlands very kindly agreed to be one of my Accommodation Partners and Gold Sponsors. Broadlands is in a nice, quiet spot on the edge of Chideock, near Seatown...

Broadlands is a very nice, comfortable and welcoming property. Tastefully appointed and impeccably clean throughout, this B&B is expertly run by a wife and husband team, Lisa and Darren. Upon arrival we were greeted by Darren who showed us to our room before bringing us a much appreciated tray of tea and cakes. The room was spacious and afforded us...

Slightly off track for the South West Coast Path we were walking but a great welcome of tea and cake as well as the offer of the use of the washing machine, which was a relief. The bedroom had great views to the south and was not noisy even though it was convenient for the main road. A fine breakafast...

My husband and I were made very welcome by Lisa as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was faultless with a stunning view from our room enjoyed whilst sitting in bed. A great location for those who like walking and exploring the area. The breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice and beautifully served in the large family kitchen overlooking...

I couldn't have picked better accommodation. The location which is just off the A35 makes it easy to find and is about 100 yards from the nearest bus stop. It's within a mile of a gentle walk to the beach at Seatown which also boasts The Anchor pub. There are two other good pubs in Chideock within minutes of walking...

Having just walked up Golden Cap was extremely happy to know that the walk to Broadlands was a level one! Great location for South West Coast Path walkers as Chideock is very close. Would have loved to stay longer. Beautiful view, fabulous room and warm welcome with tea & scone!

On arrival I was soaked and tired from walking a long stretch of the SWCP. I couldn't have booked a better place to stay therefore! On arrival Lisa, the most friendly host you could ever dream to meet, offered to wash and dry my drenched kit, whilst providing home made cake and coffee to warm me up! The view from...
