Left the restaurant feeling quite upset. Went with a group of friends for a birthday meal. I am from south east Asia, what relevance that is will make sense with the rest of the review. Prior to being seated at the dinner table, the menus were presented to you at the bar area. A portly man with white hair wearing...

I organised a weekend family and friends party at this wonderful hotel. We had used it many times a few years ago when we lived near, so it was nice to return. Very little had changed and the owners and staff where as attentive and helpful as ever. The meals and party where fantastic all enhanced by the country home...

We had been invited to dinner by friends and decided to see if we could also get accommodation. They offer a special rate for last minute availability so we enquired by telephone and got a 15% discount. On arrival we loved the look of the gardens and house which is a family run business. It is so quiet and peaceful,...

Excellent room, dog friendly, quite and nicely done. The food was excellent throughout our stay and the bar was very friendly. The Staff were all fabulous and made our stay a memorable one. We will definitely return. Chloe Beagle enjoyed it too!

A delight as always. Huge courtyard room (slightly dated decor). No fuss about two large dogs. Easy parkway no by the room. Bar area friendly and lively. Fantastic dinner and breakfast. Professional staff all did a superb job and Richard made us feel at home.

This hotel takes one back to how things used (and ought) to be; comfortable, stylish and welcoming without gimmicks or corporate nonsense. The food was delicious and service professional and efficient. The restaurant was full on both nights which is testimony to it's popularity. It is in a beautiful peaceful setting with plenty to do in the area. We would...

I haven't been for a while, but I will write this review regardless of the fantastic time me and my family had at the Plumber Manor. The food is a delight as per usual. I believe it is run by some brothers, who give fantastic customer service. It has a vibrant and lovely setting about the outside and inside of...

3 of 5 stars Pending review We haven't been here for a while but found the venue to be resting on its laurels a little as a dining experience and the ambience lacking its former warmth and vitality for what used to be an enjoyable and relaxing evening out. Furnishings seemed tired and dusty and in much need of a...
