Waters Edge hosted a first class, socially distanced BBQ for a group I was with. This was the first time I had been out with a group since lockdown and Waters Edge made it feel very safe and comfortable. The B&B has stunning, uninterrupted views. The BBQ that was laid on was a feast of freshly caught seafood and meat, with an extensive range of salad. We enjoyed the BBQ in a private, covered court yard. It was the perfect venue for our event. Jenny was always on hand and very friendly, ensuring every member of the group was looked after and enjoyed their time at Waters Edge. The facilities were fresh and clean and there was plenty of hand sanitizer provided. I look forward to returning to Waters Edge cafe when things start to return to normal and would highly recommend.
My wife and I were out for a drive around the Antrim coast road and drove past this cafe which had been a police station in a previous life, but it had caught our eye. I drove on to the next village but turned back so we could stop at the cafe. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to a table on the entrance steps overlooking the water. It was a lovely warm day so it was very pleasant but they had tables undercover at the rear of the building. We ordered scones with butter and jam but could also have had clotted cream along with coffee. They have a great menu which includes Glenarm salmon and lovely cakes. I would highly recommend this cafe and know that we will be back again soon and as I said in the title it was the perfect place to stop. Thank you again ladies. John McKittrick…
Highly recommend. Friendly service with local produce and a lovely view. We only stopped in for coffee and a light eat but the accommodation looks comfy. The cafe is decorated with great local art too.
My wife and I, were driving through Glenarm and seen the sign for the Cafe @ the Water's Edge so decided to stop. The owner was very friendly. The menu is not extensive but was exactly what we were after. We had tea, coffee and scones which were lovely.
We happened by on our drive down the coast and spontaneously stopped here when we saw the roadside sign. Great coffee, good cakes, friendly people, cosy seating, sea views, clean toilet. Altogether perfect place to stop on the coast!
