I was given the single room located right next door to the main lobby and corridor connecting to main kitchen. This room was damp smelling, the shower did not drain properly and there was no proper ventilation - just a window connecting to a corridor which connected to a noisy kitchen! I was woken up at 5:30am by kitchen staff...

Stayed here for one night, 6th July. A friendly welcome from Trevor and a quick and easy check in. The room was huge and the bathroom was very spacious. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. A nice touch was the well stocked tea and coffee tray. No faults with breakfast. Cereal, fruit, hot food cooked...

I arrived at Beechfield at about 6 o'clock on a Monday evening. I had phoned the weekend before to ask if the hotel could get some Soya Milk for me for my breakfast. This is usually never a problem but when I arrived, the manager informed me that there would be a £10 admin charge if they bought the Soya...

Stayed here for one night and the owner who greeted us was very friendly. The decor of the questhouse is a bit tired looking and in need of updating but in saying that the rooms were very clean and spotless and white towels were provided. Breakfast which was freshly cooked was excellent. The rooms were not the warmest but this...
