This was our first overnight stop in Northern Ireland. The Londonderry was very accommodating. Amazing Irish breakfast, very clean rooms, comfortable and filled with history! The hotel was originally part of Winston Churchill's inheritance. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant had great food. Amazing seafood and soup!

This was the first stop on our tour of Ireland with Vagabond Tours and it was beautiful! The rooms had all the amenities and were charming. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. The service fantastic. Definitely a place to stay!

Being mindful that this hotel is part of the country hotels association I would have expected a property which is older and a bit quaint. And so it was, however, it was more than just that. Unfortunately, the room was very dated looking, and the overall building which has old-world charme, was polluted by energy-saving light bulbs, really taking away... More

Extremely enjoyable stay in the old hotel. We had a large comfortable room. The room looked as though it had been recently refurbished. We had an unbroken view over the bay. Breakfast was great. Very quiet place with no hassle.

We were given a room at the back of the hotel which was dreadful. It had a dirty window with a grubby curtain which overlooked an untidy back yard. The furniture could have been sourced from a charity shop and the bathroom was a disgrace - mouldy damp and dirty. When we complained we were told that there were no... More

People should understand that the names of dishes refer to the origin of that dish and Maryland is the clue USA . A dish going back in time but with many continental variations and even Escoffier (iconic French chef had a version). The comment is just as irrelevant as making fun of Pizza (Italy ) or Hamburger (Germany) or any other... My wife and I have both visited the Londonderry Arms Hotel many times over the years for family meals and other occasions and love it's old world charm. We stayed overnight recently for a concert by the talented local singer/songwriter Ben Glover. The concert was fabulous and the whole experience was made all the more enjoyable by the welcoming and... More

This is on excellent hotel, with a long drive through Larne along the coast, a beautiful drive to the hotel, plenty of sight seeing. This hotel is excellent from the owner Mrs O' Neill that welcomes her customers with a warm welcome, the food is beautiful and not expensive, you would know that great meat and fish are bought.
