We arrived after a 60 mile bike ride with full luggage so were a bit tired. The reception staff was friendly and we were then taken to our pitch by a man in a buggy who looked as though we should have been going faster. This was by far and away the most expensive site we used on our 6... More

Excellent for families. Our 3 bedroom cottage is so clean and cosy. Everything is spotless and all the facilities are useful. The only complaint from hubby was the poor wifi reception. The hosts are nice and no 26 bus into Edinburgh city takes about 45mins one way - nice way to see the outskirts. We accidentally found a great restaurants/bar... More

All credit to and admiration of the staff for managing the daily arrivals and departures of visitors from around the world and across the UK with such courtesy and professionalism. Well maintained grounds and leafy, varied pitches seemed to meet everyone's needs during our 19 day stay. Excellent location with regular buses into Edinburgh from the bus stop a short... More

Stayed in one of their hexilodges for two nights whilst visiting the tattoo. Very spacious, the hexi has two single beds, shelving all around, kettle, toaster, small fridge, heater and TV/DVD. Good phone/internet signal wifi is extra but not too dear. Shop sells basics, friendly staff and nice clean toilet block. Bus to Edinburgh is a short walk away and there is a small... More

We stayed at this beautifully clean well kept site in a large motorhome for 2 nights we knew we were going to be late so rang ahead, this was no problem and we were met at the gate by a very friendly Warden who showed us to our site and showed us where all the facilities were. Very clean shower... More

Stayed in a chalet with hot tub for four nights. The site is easy to find as it is sign posted from the A1. The reception staff are very good, the check in process took a minute or so. There is also a small shop which stocks the essentials, at a reasonable price. Plenty of information in there too. The... More

Drummohr is a nice campsite and clearly caters well for caravans and motorhomes due to the number of hard standings and "super pitches". The grounds are well kept too and there seems to be enough water points, bins etc too. The site is convenient for Edinburgh and it clearly caters for both British and European clients well. As we own... More

Spent a lovely couple of days here as a family of 4, age 11 and 8. Our tent pitch was lovely and secluded, even had our own designated picnic bench. Toilets and showers were lovely and clean. Very peaceful and relaxing, yet near many attractions at the same time. Only bad point for us was the shop only had UHT... More

As we have 2 small children we decided camping in a tent would be too difficult, so we chose to stay in a bothy. The accommodation was basic, as expected but much roomier than the pictures on the website shows. The bothy has 4 single beds with mattresses. These beds are big and comfortable. There is plenty of storage space... More
