This was a birthday treat from my three children. We stayed for two nights in a lodge. Fabulous facilities and although we could have self catered we ate the first night in Cruize and the second in Eighteen69. Both excellent although the fish in Eighteen69 was so fresh it might have been caught that afternoon! Then storm Barbara hit and...

Fifth visit. Stayed in new building in exec room ..was just beautiful...even in a cold and blowy December... New building is amazing ... Lovely guest lounges also ..was perfect to snuggle in on a windy afternoon. We have stayed in all areas of Auchrannie now and love it all ....but this stay was just perfect. Booked a deal through ITISON and have to say it was absolutely top notch from start to finish. We arranged for the 'free' Auchrannie shuttle bus to pick us up from Brodick terminal and take us to Auchrannie which is only about a 2 minute drive. We received a lovely welcome from the staff in the Spa building which was...

My family and I stayed in two lodges here at the resort for two days in December. On arrival the staff gave us a very warm welcome and were helpful and knowledgeable. They had ensured that our lodges were next door to each other which was very thoughtful. The lodges are extremely clean and beautifully decorated to what I would...

Ok, so this trip was my first time to Arran, and our first holiday with our dog. I had heard loads of good reviews about Auchrannie and when an itison deal popped up I jumped at the chance of a little winter break. We booked over the phone and asked to have the dog included too. So we arrived about...

Dear Mirrabella12, Thank you for taking time to provide feedback.I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed many aspects of your stay from our VIP (Very Important Pooches) facilities to our friendly team and the cosy couches in Cruize. It's really disappointing you left us tired due to a poor sleep , had we been made aware of the issues you raise...

Great value although a little unhappy at being forced into an upgrade at additional cost when booking. The room ended up being lovely though, so all is forgiven! The food was excellent at Cruise and that proved our base for the night. I would happily recommend Auchrannie to couples and families alike.

We had booked a regular room but about a week before our trip got an email offering an upgrade at a reasonable price. We're so glad we took advantage of the offer - the Executive Plus room was huge and gorgeous - it had an extra bunk room which we didn't really need for the two of us but it...

Just left the hotel after a two night stay, and currently writing this on the ferry, but wanted to put some words down whilst fresh in my mind. The finer points of this resport are constructive and in the main complimentary, however there are two or three things that stick in my throat after this short visit to Auchrannie. Let's...

A fabulous hotel for families, couples, friends etc... everything from service, food, spa, activities was top class. Highly recommend this hotel- have been before and will be going again 😊 The spa offers a great range of treatments, I had full body massage and it was amazing, and relaxed for a good hour at least after in the relaxation room....

I stayed at the Auchrannie Spa Resort a few weekends ago for a couples retreat. The room my boyfriend and I stayed in was an executive room and was definitely worth the extra money, it was incredible. The room was more like an suite with a main bedroom/living area, huge bed and TV with many channels. The bathroom had a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of the beautiful isle of Arran lies the multi-award winning, family owned Auchrannie Resort. Auchrannie now consists of two four star hotels; the romantic and relaxing ‘House Hotel’ catering for couples and those wanting a more intimate experience whilst the contemporary ‘Spa Resort’ is popular with families and those prefer a more modern feel to their surroundings. In addition, the resort features 30 five-star self-catering lodges (sleeping up to 8 in total luxury and therefore perfect for the extended family), 3 outstanding, award winning restaurants and bars, 2 leisure centres both with pools, destination spa featuring treatments by ESPA and Ishga and an outdoor adventure centre. Arran is Scotland’s most accessible islands, often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature” due to the dramatic contrast between the hills and mountains in the north, and sweeping moorlands on the south of the island. A short 55 minute ferry journey off the Ayrshire coast, Arran is easily reachable by those arriving into any of central Scotland’s main airports as well as those travelling by car, train and coach. Whilst many tourists arrive on the island simply to kick back and relax, the island is packed with attractions and sights for visitors of all ages. ... more   less
