Seafront hotel with views across the bay to Holy Island. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious with plenty of choice. Walking books and maps are available from reception for the duration of your stay.

My partner and I stayed at the Glenisle Hotel in beautiful Lamlash from Friday 10 Mar. until Sunday 12 March for my 27th birthday. Upon entering the beautiful (and very well kept property) we were both made to feel at home. We were shown around, and fell in love with the place instantly. The bar/bistro/lounge areas are so comfortable and...

I booked the Glenisle at very short notice for part of a surprise birthday weekend break for my partner. At the time I booked, the only available room left was 14, which turns out to have been the best in the hotel. Given this, I wouldn't describe it as a budget option, but gladly the room and overall feel of...

Just got back from a 2 night break in this beautiful hotel. After a lovely welcome we were shown to our "cosy double" which lived up to it's name - small, but perfectly equipped for an extremely comfortable stay. The customer service from all staff was exemplary, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfasts and we enjoyed a fantastic evening...

Stayed here on a 3 night Valentines getaway and had such a wonderful experience! Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and shown to a spotlessly tidy room with a gigantic, fluffy feather-down bed and a stunning view over Lamlash and the bay. Slept peacefully and awoke to one of the best breakfasts I've had in years - a full Scottish,...
