First trip to Arran, booked very late on and so glad I stumbled upon Lamlash and Glenisle Hotel. Lovely hotel, lovely room, staff very friendly and welcoming, food very good too. The weather even behaved on day 2 and I saw some sun

Booked an evening meal at the Bistro. The food and service was excellent. They had just introduced their winter menu and we weren't disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly without being obtrusive, and very knowledgable about all local produce used. Can highly recommend.

Stayed at the Glenisle Hotel when visiting Arran, views to die for, a stunning hotel, great food, clean and well designed rooms but best of all and so unusual in today's world - well trained and polite staff

Yes, there are ground floor rooms that can be made available by special request. I suggest you contact the hotel directly to arrange. I have a friend who did something similar a couple of months ago.
