We stayed 4 nights and we were sorry to leave. We had a room on the top floor (3rd floor to us) with two flights of stairs. I was able to navigate the stairs easily even with a leg injury. Astrid also offered to assist with luggage. She was wonderful throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable with a...

Stopped here for one night prior to getting the ferry back to the mainland from neighbouring village. Loads of free parking. Staff very helpful. Family room (at the top of the building - no lift but only 2 flights of stairs) could not be faulted. The decoration was lovely and very appropriate to the hotels location. Our room had fabulous...

It was part of our NC500 trip but we couldn't resist a wee detour to Orkney and so glad we did. Lovely dinner and a warm welcome in the bar. Breakfast set us up perfectly for our return crossing to the...

This hotel has a all the amenities you require with excellent service and food. We had an excellent dinner and the breakfast was the best we had whilst in the UK - offered 4 types of fish was certainly unique for breakfast - kippers, smokeys, smoked salmon and herrings in oatmeal!

We booked a family suite at this hotel and were greeted with a lovely welcome even though there was an annual event at the hotel and the place was packed. The suite was gorgeous and immaculate and had seating areas and a kitchen. The evening meals were amazing so much so that we eat there every night. The breakfast service...

Lovely harbour view from all bedrooms and conservatory restaurant - modern rooms, bit small but with everything you need. Delicious meals - all freshly cooked to order with local produce - best Fish Pie ever! Not much to see in Burray - about 20 mins to Kirkwall - passing Italian Chapel on the way. Very convenient for the Pentland Ferry...

The breakfast was first class, the meals in the restaurant were fine but the bar meals menu was first class. The staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful about places to visit. We had...
