This B&B is among the best I've ever stayed at. Rooms are large, very well appointed and the hosts are friendly, helpful. Just what you need. Being out of town, it takes a bit of finding at first, but after the first day, no problem. There's not that many roads on the island! Being out of town, it is also...

I stayed overnight when I was away with work. It's about 20 minutes from Kirkwall. Lovely wee hotel, very clean and inside it's been refurbished to a very high standard. The owners are very nice & helpful. There is parking to the side of the hotel. There are a couple of restaurants fairly close and I would recommend having a...

Lovely warm welcome on arrival late at night. We were asked in advance about dietary requests shortly after booking. Phil had all the information about the area to hand. Room was lovely and warm for us to step into after a 14 hour journey on a cold day in late October. We have one more night to stay here but...

There are many interesting prehistoric sights nearby. We visited Skara Brae, Meashowe, Ring of Bodgar, Tonmb of the Eagle. Kirkwall is nice. The St. Magnus Cathedrale is beautiful. Coast line Yesnaby is graet.

A great visit before we started our trip. Phil had all the local information we needed to prepare for our visit without us having to hunt all over the net for it. From the great late-night welcome from Lynn to a very wonderful breakfast prepared by the both of them our visit was pleasant and had all the bases covered....

Returned having stayed earlier in the year and therefore knowing that it would be exactly as required. Very good base to explore both Stromness as well as Kirkwell. Love the little touches including a flask of fresh iced milk to have with teas/ coffee in room . Will be back!
