My 11 year old has been struggling with lockdown over the last few months and was getting quite down. I have a large family but decided to book a break for him and myself, first time I've done this. The swimming pool was the reason we booked as he was a competitive swimmer and obviously not been able to go for a good while now. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed. We headed straight to the leisure centre to book our swimming as it is exclusive use at the moment and I was worried about getting a slot. The guy at the leisure centre was amazing an absolute credit to the resort, so helpful with us and made our experience brilliant. All the staff were excellent, the lady that worked at the bar and served breakfast was also very friendly. The food at night was amazing, we both had 3 courses and worth every penny. Breakfast was lovely the next morning, goodness knows where my son put it all! Room was very clean, we had a wander about and saw the lodges and will definitely book to take all the family there. I am from the area so know how beautiful the surroundings are but if you weren't the opportunities are endless as it's a stunning part of the country. Credit to all the staff who are working under these very strange circumstances and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a covid escape for a little while.

Stayed in a 2 bed lodge recently to celebrate my partners birthday, we got a great deal online which was better value than any similar accommodation I had looked at. The lodge was much bigger than expected with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. One room had a double bed and en-suite and the other had twin beds, but both were very spacious and nicely decorated. One of the showers was temperamental and took a while to get started but worked well once on. We were also given a welcome pack which included milk, orange juice, a loaf of bread, eggs and tea/coffee/sugar, this was a nice touch. The main town is about 10 minutes drive and has small supermarkets if needed. I did notice some areas in the lodge which could have been slightly cleaner, the fridge in particular, but I might not have noticed this if I hadn’t been extra cautious due to covid. We didn’t realise when booking that the restaurant was closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and isn’t offering lunch service at the moment so we didn’t get to try this. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pool either but could have booked 45 minute slots on arrival. We did have two massages with Brenda which I highly recommend, she was extremely friendly and put us at ease straight away, definitely worth booking if you are staying at Duchally. Overall we had a great stay and would visit again in future.

Lovley resort just down from Gleneagles. Set in beautiful grounds. The lodges are very nice and spotless. The lodge was spacious and cosy. Nice facilities and everything you need. We did not use the pool but did use the cafe which was good with a cosy log burner to warm you up on a cold day. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was great value you for money and very good. Would recommend
