Whilst beautiful grounds the very poor restaurant service let down this hotel. Drinks took well over 30 mins to arrive at table and the jug of water we asked for took even longer. Waitress was very nice but training needed - said no garlic bread with pasta meals so we ordered sides, then food arrived and had garlic bread included. Cutlery had to be asked for twice AFTER food arrived. We bought strawberry tarts to take away and they were squashed into a very small plastic tub - think you need to source a bigger tub. Finished with drinks in garden, again took nearly 35 minutes for soft drinks to arrive. Other guests also remarked on terribly slow drinks service. 4 star hotel that is letting itself down by lack of staff training and lack of supervision of young staff members huddled together outside chatting amongst themselves while tables sat dirty.

We recently stayed at the hotel on the Sunday dinner, bed and breakfast offer. The hotel itself was excellent, with a clean, comfortable and modern room. The food in the restaurant was very good, although service was slow and a little chaotic, with both courses arriving some minutes before the required cutlery. I found the breakfast rather strange and a bit of a letdown. It was delivered in a box, as advertised, and contained pre-packed cereal, yoghurt, flapjack, orange juice and milk. This was fine, but I'm not sure which of these items the selection of jams or the dinner plates were for! Overall not a bad stay and hopefully easing of restrictions will help improve the service and breakfast offering.

Enjoyed a dinner, bed and breakfast with overnight stay at Ingliston, Country Club it was immaculate, stunning views and the atmosphere was great! We had dinner in the Palomino’s restaurant which was delicious and all staff where extremely friendly. In addition, the hotel has an automatic temp check upon arrival and sanitiser on every restaurant table, afterwards while enjoying a walk around the stables we relaxed with a beer outside in the courtyard . Breakfast was a treat served in the room and it was substantial. Thank you Ingliston will definitely be back!
