As other reviewers have said, this B&B is not within walking distance of Dornoch (nor is it on a road that you would want to walk with no pavements) but it is only a few minutes drive. It is definitely much nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. All the rooms (from what I could see) were...

This B and B has a rather forlorn and unkempt exterior but the rooms are a good size and well-appointed. The breakfast was rather bland. Not much in the way of attention or hospitality. Situated within easy driving distance of Dornoch, itself an interesting place to spend an evening.

Expecting to find this B&B in Dornoch we were disappointed to find we had to drive another 5 miles. Thank goodness we weren't cyclists. The room was simply furnished but the breakfast was excellent. Cooked just the way we requested. Wifi didn't work for us.

Owner was very welcoming, and room and breakfast very very good. Only drawback is that it is a few minutes drive to the nearest shop/pub/restaurant - we would have preferred something within walking distance

Situated in a rural setting overlooking Loch, it gives you such serene peace. Owner on the ball with an eye to detail. Only place that has had receipt waiting in your room and welcome cuppa and cookies served using nice china. I have never seen such a smoothly ironed bedspread and pillow cases etc without a crease. The entire room...

Along our way north, we stayed at Strathview Lodge for one night. It doesn't look very pretty from the outside - but don't be deceived by the first impression, as it is totally fine from the inside. Our room as well as facilities were clean and in very good condition. Especially facilities looked almost as new and as a bonus,...

Well, first of all, we were coldly welcomed by the owners because there was some kind of issue with the booking website, so the owner said that he wasn't expecting us anymore. The room and the breakfast were just OK, and we had striclty no interractions with the owners, just a cold farewell, and we had to look and wait...

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order every morning. Beds were comfortable, everything very clean. Hosts were very accommodating. Great little base for exploring this part of the world, definitely a car needed if you want to venture out.

Very neat and tidy and had things in the rooms you wouldn't expect from B&B. Bathroom better than most hotels I've stayed in. Cousy bed and super fresh and tasty breakfast. To top it up, waking up to that view I could get used to. Thank you very much for your services.
