Lovely home made food, with excellent customer service on top. I had a lovely steak pie served with chips, and fresh veg. Carrots were lovely and sweet. Hubby had the chicken pie which he also enjoyed. Our little one had the kids pizza. Even this was home made. Hubby had a taste and said he would order it for himself!...

Visited the Trentham this evening with friends who live locally. This was my first visit but it most certainly will not be my last. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, we all had Steak Pie and it was totally out of this world. Next to seeing my friends, a meal at the Trentham will be the thing...

Okay, it's a basic pub. Friendly, busy, and not a huge choice on the menu, but hey wyswig! What you see is what you get. They have some Mexican choices on the carte which is refreshing in the Scottish highlands. I had the enchiladas which were very acceptable. Tasty, hot, not quite spicy enough, but served with a salsa, guacamole...

Traveling north on the A9 and stopped here for lunch on impulse. Quiet place and well maintained. Ordered at the bar and got great service, good beef curry, great soup and drinks. We would recommend without reservation. The toilets were spotless and with cloth handtowels for a nice touch. While we did not stay in the rooms our overall impression...

First time there and no help to find menus as its order at the bar. Staff were very unaccommodating and rude. Our drinks ( 2 cokes ) were flat and no ice in either of them, it took 30 minutes for our starters to arrive and they were basic starters that shouldn't of taken any longer than 5 minutes max....

First time visiting the Trentham. We have heard good things about this place so wanted to try it. We didn't have to book a table even though it was busy which was great. The restaurant was relaxing and played nice music. The meal was delicious, the steak pie is recommended! Staff were friendly and helpful. Food prices are good. Will...

Booked a table after a recommendation from a local as we wanted to celebrate our anniversary. Friends spoke to a few people about where we were going, heard nothing but good reviews. I'm pleased to say I agree with what everyone said about it. Me, hubby and our friend had steak. Beautifully cooked, beautifully presented. Everyone in the party was...

I'll try to keep this short. I've tried to get a hold of the hotel to rectify the situation but they do not have a website or email address. They have a facebook page but have not responded. I'm not willing to go to the effort and expense of writing and sending a letter. When I arrived to my room...

On recommendation from locals I booked a table as steaks were supposed to be amazing. On arrival got a lovely welcome then had gorgeous starters and a really nice glass of wine. Then are steaks arrived they were grey in colour and cold, the veg and mushrooms also cold. Spoke to lovely girl at the bar and she took them...

Visited last weekend for a diamond wedding celebration with the family. The food was OK, service was OK, certainly nothing to rave about. Typical pub menu, very small portions, wrong order brought to the table, dishes flying through the air at one point, overall not yhe best experience.
