The hotel staff were great...attentive, polite and helpful. We had a room in the "new" part which was clean and comfortable. The only downside was no wifi in the room, although they did have a lovely "resident lounge" where you could get wifi access.

I agree with the previous writer that bus is convenient from Inverness to Dornoch BUT it leaves early (?9.20am) so you would need an overnight stay in in Inverness unless you were doing sleeper which arrives Inverness ?6am... More

Train connection goes to Tain and a taxi would be feasible from there approx.8 miles.
