This is a small and really homely hotel with a very warm and friendly welcome. We had a compact, but extremely cosy and comfortable en-suite room on the top floor. The rooms are located above a very civilized pub with really friendly locals and atmosphere. This great pub is run by the super helpful and friendly hotel hosts and continues...

Great little and quirky b & b / guest house. Staff really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Been here a couple of times now once solo and enjoyed the banter as a solo traveler. Good honest food and all round value for money. One of very few places I've stopped that give you real and free wifi ! Ft Augustus is...

This is one of a few places to eat if you visit Loch Ness (Fort Augustus). We had a nice meal (fish and chips) and a tasty pint of Tennants. The staff was nice and cheerful, as a local pub should be really.

We popped in for drinks after dinner. The atmosphere was great with some Gaelic music being played due to a local festival that was on. The staff were great! So so friendly and welcoming. We stood at the bar the whole time and chatted to a local and the staff. Would highly recommend it as a local pub with great...

We stayed here after walking part of our trip along the Great Glen Way. We were tired and sore but got a warm welcome. We used a baggage service to deliver our luggage and they kindly placed the bags in the room well before we arrived so was nice not taking them upstairs. The room was cosy and comfortable, especially...

Fantastic location in lovely Fort Augustus with friendly staff, clean and cosy rooms and a decent sized fry-up / help-yourself breakfast. Car parking around the corner through a side entrance road near the lochs. I really couldn't fault this budget hotel (not much is cheap or budget in Scotland so while it may not be your idea of budget, it...

We came for drinks and dinner. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to a large table near the rear as requested. We ordered our drinks then a while later ordered our food. They were very helpful explaining a few things on the menu. The food was very enjoyable and we had a lovely evening. Would recommend...

We went in for a coffee on our trip to Fort Augustus for the day, 2 ladies serving, 4 people already in, when we asked for tea and coffee we were told to pay first. That was fine but then the people already in were getting ready to leave and they were then given their bill to pay for theirs,...
