We travelled to London, Edinburgh, Highlands, Kyleakin, Portree, Fort Augustus, Inverness etc in September, 2016. And nowhere else did we face any problem, whatsoever! But, our experience at Corrie & Liath was a disaster from the moment that we entered our rooms! Our rooms were pretty cold, from what we had expected. We were weary and tired, because we had...

Stayed at Corrie Liath b&b in June 2016 with my wife. It´s a lovely bed and breakfast! The room was comfortable, not very big but just enough space. The hosts made us feel welcome. All in all we got the feeling that the place was very well organised and everything worked well. Would stay there again!

Extremely sweet and cooperating hosts , one of the best hosts I've experienced in all B&Bs I've stayed. Great breakfast they offered with a very nice variety for vegetarians. Very nice Garden and Hut they have and a very well located property, more than Loch Ness I miss Andy uncle and Caroline aunt.

We had 4 out of the 5 rooms, since we are a large family. The owners were very welcoming. Some rooms had private bathrooms and some don´t. Rooms were quite small and walls quite thin, but since we were a family we didnt care that much. It was decorated very old-fashioned. Fine internet connection. Overall, a good experience. It would...

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I would just like to make clear that all our rooms have either a private or en-suite bathroom and the house and decoration is typically Scottish. There are maps of Fort Augustus in every room and at the front door as you enter the house. We...

Stayed here for a night en route to Portree. The accommodations were extremely clean and the hosts were very attentive and kind. The breakfast was scrumptious and hearty and the property is located just a 10 minute walk or less from the center of town. We only wish we could've stayed here a few more nights!

Have just had a three night stay at Corrie Liath B&B. Andy and Caroline were very welcoming to their lovely accommodation. Superb breakfast and extremely good facilities. We had a fantastic stay there. Don't bother with four star hotels. You will get five star treatment if you stay at Corrie Liath.

We are glad you enjoyed your time here. Three days is ideal to see some of the attractions in the area like the Isle of Skye, Ben Nevis, distilleries, boat trips on Loch Ness and walking trails to mention just a few.

Very friendly couple that operates the B&B - made us feel right at home. Vegetarian breakfast was delicious - had vegetarian haggus and it was awesome! And to top it off, you can watch a beautiful variety of birds that come to the garden while you eat. Room was small but very comfy. Walls are a little thin, but didn't...

We think it is important to offer tasty vegetarian and vegan options as this can often be overlooked. We also offer gluten free bread and biscuits and soya milk.

Room comfortable. Very clean and plenty of hot water. Caroline and Andy very helpful and able to suggest some lovely places to visit. Breakfast was great and served promptly at the agreed time. The BBQ hut is certainly different and an excellent idea as don't have to worry what the weather is doing. Lots of birds to watch while in...

A very friendly couple. We were cycling and they put the bikes in a little shed. It's about a 10 minute walk into town from the B&B. Nice breakfast room that looks out on the garden, friendly but with the feeling of still being in their home

Management response:

Fort Augustus is indeed very busy in the summer as it is so popular. This however makes for a very lively feel to the village with live music and a weekly ceilidh (Scottish dance) to make your stay special.
