Visited as part of a tour group. Had a great stay in this hostel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable with clean en suite bathrooms. The food they offered was delicious and good value. They ran a "pub quiz" which was good fun too. All in all a great stay!

To start with, I chose Morag's because I had been there earlier and had we not got a reservation there, I might not have even chosen to go to Loch Ness that weekend. It was a a perfect place to relax and meet new people. We had booked the 4 bed dormitory to fit in 3 people(I happily paid the...

We are delighted to hear that your brother had an awesome birthday celebration with us - we can't think of a better place for making new friends over a few drinks in the Highlands! ;0)

Stayed here for 2 nights with a busabout tour group: Amenities were fantastic - bathrooms were beautiful ensuites that were cleaned daily. The beds were clean and tidy - fairly new. The staff hosted a pub quiz in the attached bar - which was loads of fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi ... kind of only works in the...

Since it was pouring during my visit, I had to stay a full day inside Morag's Lodge, enjoying free tea, coffee an wifi on the more than comfy sofas in the common area. :-) Staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms seem quite big for hostel rooms and fairly new. I'd definitely come back.

We stayed two nights on a mini-tour, as independent travellers. The place is run by an excellent staff, who are helpful, friendly, and work very hard to make it a comfortable and pleasant stay for visitors. The dorms are clean and have good facilities (e.g. USB ports alongside reading lights on wall). The bar is lively and the staff put...

Stayed one night while walking the Great Glen Way. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable accommodation. Short walk to town for restaurants, etc. Pleasant bar on site. Wifi was not working when I was there.

There is not a whole lot to do in the town near here, but the lodge has a bar inside of it. The staff are very helpful, and even shipped my necklace back to me after I accidentally lost it down the sink. Definitely for a younger (20's) crowd, but lots of fun.

We are happy that your necklace arrived safely back with you. We are located in a Highland village that has a few pubs and restaurants, but we think our own bar is the best!

I stopped at this place on a hike up the Great Glen. It was getting dark and I had no desire to hope I'd find a campsite while I still had light, so I tried on the offchance they had a spare bed. In retrospect, this may have been a mistake. I'm learning that many of the "independent" hostels in...

Spent three nights on the shores of Loch Ness here, and there was a different event in the bar each night: pub quiz, games, tartan togas. Great drinks selection, and bedrooms were well-sheltered from the noise. They will do a giant bag of your laundry too, and help you find your way to hikes and boating spots.
