The pub is set in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Ness and nestled amongst a hillside forest. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights end. Although we found the staff generally helpful and friendly, the overall interior decor of the pub could be described as 'outdated'. There is also a sign on the door which advertises free wifi but having failed several...

What a jolly place. The staff were very helpful and keen to please. I had a simple dinner in the bar, which had a friendly atmosphere. My room was very comfortable. I had an early departure so a packed meal was given to me in lieu of breakfast. Just the job. I will return one day.

We stopped in here one afternoon after a freezing cold walk to Falls of Foyers. We were told by local caravan site that dogs are allowed which is why we popped in-and I am so glad we did. We had homemade stone baked pizzas which were really tasty and dogs naturally got crusts! We sat for a couple of hours...

We called here for a drink after a day out. The barman was a lovely friendly chap (Gordon) and myself and my three friends enjoyed a bit of banter with him and the owner and a visiting local. We only had bar snacks so can't comment on the food and drink was fairly priced. All in all we enjoyed our...

Situated on the south side of Loch Ness the Glendarroch is reached by taking he minor road (B852) from Fort Augustus, a wee road with passing places. The village of Foyers where you will find the Inn is noted for the famous Falls of Foyers a short walk from the Inn. Staff were delightful and welcoming even although we arrived...

I'm genuinely baffled by some of the reviews on here and I truly don't get how this place has earned a 4 star rating. The place itself could be incredible but as we arrived I couldn't help notice how run down the building is. Once in, it really isn't that's nice...it's just ok. We sat in a room with a...

Fantastic stay really comfy rooms. We got free upgrade to Loch view with 4poster. Amazing!!!!!! Food wasn't great but the staff were friendly enough. One bit of advise I'd give is to shallow fry the Tattie Scones so they are crispy. Pan warmed Tattie Scones ain't the best.

Spent two nights at the Craigdarroch Inn and it was brillaint. Rooms were clean and warm. Bathroom clean and equiped with free towels. Food was excellent, we had "free" meal which consisted of ANYTHING from the menu, 3 course and bottle of wine. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any quries we had. The location was a bit far...

We stopped in at the pub of the Craigdarroch Inn as we were staying in the area and we wanted to grab a couple pints and some dinner. The bar staff was friendly and the prices are reasonable. We both had a pizza which is cooked in a wood-fired oven. They were decent but nothing spectacular. The beer is good...
