This was definitely the best hotel we stayed in during our 8 day tour of Scotland and it was such a pleasure to stay there and made such a change to the other hotels we visited. The hotel is in a lovely position with vistas over the water and hills. Albeit on a main road it is not noisy. We... More

This hotel is on Little Loch Broom and the nearest neighbour is at least a couple of miles or more away. The hotel appears to have been modernised a number of years ago and frankly could do with a facelift again now. From the coloured bathroom suites to the carpeted bathroom and the antiquated hot water system. (There is a... More

I arrived at 8.30pm, tired and bedraggled after walking for 22miles some of which was over rough country. They didn't bat an eyelid, took my boots to the boiler room and showed me to my room, which was a double WITH BATH. (Thank you!) I came down at 8.59pm and got a lovely burger and chips meal at the last... More

Great views from our 1st floor room at the front of the Loch and Glen.Usual facilities, kettle, tea & coffee TV etc. Evening meal, bearing in mind we were a group of 50+ featured a good choice of menu, and was above average, Breakfast was also enjoyable, with good selection, The only draw back, was the amount of midges between the car park and... Was staying en route so decided to have first dinner of the holiday here. The bright overpowering orange painted building should have set alarm bells. Went in through hotel where there was nobody there so made our way to bar. At the bar there and the main lager and Guinness was off, in the height of the holiday season? Food... More

The hotel is in a grate spot, surrounded by mountains and on the shore of littel loch broom. We arrived in the afternoon, and enjoyed coffee and cake in the cosy lounge. if you like to read you wont be dissapointed as there are many books to choose from (which you can even take away with you) and a load... Amazing location - This hotel is a real find. Really impressed with the attention to detail everywhere. Lots of space and also many quiet, cosy places to curl up with a book undisturbed. The night that we stayed there was a live folk music session in the bar. A brilliant atmosphere with everyone welcomed to join in if they wished.... More

We loved the freshly cooked breakfast and good service. The bedroom was fine, a bit dated. The bathroom was carpeted! I thought this was not allowed for hygiene reasons. The bar area was very pleasant with loads of books to read.
