We stayed for one night at Ross Villa based on the excellent Trip Advisor reviews. Our first impression was the sparkling cleanliness and warm welcome. The house is beautiful and everything you need is supplied. The bed was comfy and the breakfast superb. A perfect base in Tain.

Stayed on a motorcycling trip. Venue is recently purpose built and is immaculate just a 5 minutes walk to town centre where there are pubs and eateries. The host are a wonderful couple who are warm and helpful without being intrusive. The full Scottish breakfast was excellent. Secure off-road parking I would stay again when next travelling up that East...

We have just had an excellent 6-night stay in Ray and Ian's lovely B & B in Tain; we'd worried that it wouldn't be as good as we remembered from our previous stay- but it was even better. Our bedroom was warm, bright, modern and extremely spacious, despite having two very comfortable armchairs in addition to more than ample storage....

John & Betty, what a wonderful review! Our heads have got bigger! Well, we must say what a pleasure it is to have guests like both of you, always smiling and very friendly, as you were happy to make 'chat' with our other guests at the breakfast table. We could always hear lots of laughter (great considering it was first...

We really enjoyed our stay here-- Ray and Ian Ross are super lovely and were so helpful when our plans didn't pan out the way we had hoped. The rooms are very nice and clean. The price was perfect. The only suggestion we had was a fan in the room for the summer days. Other than that, we loved it...

Thank you for your very kind review and so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we were able to get you a 'hack' on such a beautiful day. Good idea having a fan in the room in warm weather, it does't happen many times in Scotland! Best wishes, Ian and Ray.

A really nice B&B with plenty of parking. We had a large twin room room with a good en-suite and powerful shower. The wi-fi was fast and the breakfast was very good, there isn't anything I could really fault.

Very comfortable B&B. Well located. Set back from main road so very quiet. Short walk from centre of Tain. Excellent breakfast. Had been before and would use again. Made 2 cyclists very welcome. Bikes undercover and well out of sight.

We chose Tain as a stop before a ferry for Orkney the next day, and it proved an ideal location. Rossvilla was easy to find on the main way into Tain and we headed down the drive to the ample parking amid immaculate gardens. We got a warm welcome from Ray and were soon settling in to one of the...

I spent a night here with friends while on a cycle tour of Northern Scotland. This spotlessly clean modern home was designed specially for the owners to have two B&B guest rooms and as a result both rooms reflect their experience and thoughtfulness as long-time B&B hosts: both rooms are spacious and private, with generous en suite bathrooms and skylights...
