This may be the most beautiful, gracious place we have ever stayed. Everything was picture perfect. No detail was missed. The proprietors have done an amazing job of preserving an historic house, but adding modern conveniences that one expects in a luxury stay. It is quite a feat to strike that balance so successfully and I offer my compliments to...

We came as five adults to celebrate my fathers 80th year. We couldn't have been happier. The scenery is beautiful, the hotel is charming with very attentive service; but it was the food that stole the show. Absolutely delicious meals and wonderful waiters who made every meal very special. We had a fabulous time and thoroughly recommend it. A drive...

Lovely country hotel with delightful staff and delicious food . Wr dined in the 1887 restaurant in the hotel but they also have a pub next door which is more casual although we didn't have time to sample it. We were given a room which overlooked the roof at the back but luckily we were given a room overlooking the...

We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The setting, staff, and food were all wonderful. Our suite 1887 was fantastic as well. We participated in many of their outdoors activities, which all exceeded our expectations.

We had a lovely spacious room with a fantastic view of the loch. Service at the hotel was impeccable, from the initial welcome through to a great dinner experience in the restaurant, and thoughtful accommodation of our early morning departure. Kayaking on the loch was a highlight of our stay.

The drive to The Torridon is a 10 mile single lane winding road with mountains both sides. It is bleakly beautiful and then The Torridon comes into view and you think James Bond is about to appear because it is like something out of a Bond movie - sophisticated, elegant and timeless. Everything about The Torrodin is lovely - the...

Stayed here for two nights, making every second count, because the hotel is exquisite, the setting is sublime and the food and service are perfect. I nearly put my hand through my room window; it was so clean, the glass didn't show! We enjoyed hot tea (complimentary) every afternoon, and it was graciously accompanied by a homemade biscuit. Full afternoon...

I was completely expecting to leave the Torridon thinking "this was not worth the money." But that was not the case AT ALL. The service was FANTASTIC. The staff not only wanted to help but they went out of their way to find ways to help. The breakfast was amazing!! The room was great, just the right size. The hotel...

The Torridon comes with big expectations, not least due to the price. There is also a formidable culinary reputation to live up to. The scenery is absolute perfection. The rooms are comfortable. The house is small enough to feel personal, unlike many Victorian Scottish piles. The staff were delightful to a fault, even if one or two struggled with their...

The Torridon offered all the comforts expected of a classic luxury boutique hotel. Its whiskey bar and the adjoining lounge room with a cosy fireplace made for a great place to retire after a long walk around the shores of the majestic Loch Torridon. The breakfast served in the fine dining restaurant was great as was dinner. There is a...
