Visited here with friends on a day trip across the costal areas and Galloway area. What a beautiful Castle and an absolutely stunning venue for weddings and other activities. Was absolutely enthralled with the place and it made me visualise the kind of dreams only seen in fairytales. This place is absolutely stunning and worth a visit to the gorgeous...

Had the best time at Glenapp castle.should have gone home on the fourth night but stayed an extra night as my wife and I really enjoyed being there. When you get to the castle it feels like you are coming home as the staff make you feel like you are part of the family with their kindness and always being...

Fantastic - could not fault anything about this stay. Exceptional service from Flavian & Ailsa (hope this is correct spelling) at dinner and breakfast service and food was fab too. Can't wait to return. Room was amazing, got a lovely upgrade. Afternoon tea and dinner were such a treat - loved everything about this castle.

My wife and I were faced with a Christmas where we wouldn't be able to get back to our families so we decided to spend it at a Scottish Castle to try and make it a memorable Christmas. We chose Glenapp Castle, spending 3 nights starting on Christmas Eve. The grounds were magnificently maintained and we were able to go...

We traveled with friends to Glenapp to stay for the New Year's holiday (Hogmanay in Scotland) and thoroughly enjoyed the Castle. From the moment you arrive and pass through the gates to this beautiful property on the Irish Sea, you are treated like the Lord/Lady of the Castle. John and his staff are thoroughly professional while remaining warm and gracious....

The location was lovely, the rooms were wonderful the staff were beyond professional and attentive and the food was a faultless culinary treat. The staff made us feel welcome and looked after us so well that it...

I treated my partner to this exquisite establishment. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a 5 star welcome this was followed with an excellent and relaxing afternoon tea...which was delicious. Glenapp offers all the grandeur of a 5 star castle without being pretentious. Dinner and the quality of food including service is fit for a Michelin star....

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and can thoroughly recommend it - the room was perfect, the food was outstanding and the service was to die for. It is more like a private country house than a hotel - no reception, no bar, no-one wanting you to sign anything throughout your stay and the maitre d' remembered what...

I went for a birthday treat to this Castle and it was an amazing experience. It is a very exclusive place where you are treated like royalty. Staff to meet you and the afternoon tea was just gorgeous. Sitting in front of a log fire in beautiful warm and bijou surroundings, very homely atmosphere and comfortable. The staff made my...
