Third time I've stayed here, but this was the first time I've ever seen the sun in Girvan. We actually managed to sit outside in the sun and enjoy more than our fair share of gin and tonic. Food was good as always, not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I had a sea view room this...

Lovely hotel with large bedrooms very close to Girvan. Tea and coffee making facilities, ironing board and safe in the room. Large comfortable bed. Close to beach for a walk. Breakfast absolutely delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, the only improvement would be a small fridge in the room.

We just wanted say how much we really enjoyed our meal on Thursday 4th May 2017. There were four of us. We were on our way to get the boat home after traveling from Highlands and Fairmont hotel St Andrews. The girl who greeted us was friendly and welcoming and was able to accommodate my aunt who was gluten free....

Stayed here for 5 days on a business trip. The hotel is located out of town, on the side of the road, by the sea. The view from the room was quite nice (I had a room with sea view). The rooms were very clean, good amenities, large bathroom and cabin shower, comfortable bed, big dressing. Staff was very welcoming...

Driving from Aberdeen to Donegal for my wedding. Me and the other half stopped here for the night to break up this journey. This hotel has stunning views across to Ailsa Craig (better when sun shines) and is only 30 mins from ferry terminal at Cairnryan. The restaurant served tasty food in the evening and the breakfast was big and...

We stayed for an overnight break after arriving on the ferry from Ireland. The Woodland Bay is a small family run hotel on the A77 just south of Girvan. The simple exterior of the hotel is quite deceptive. We were shown to a freshly decorated, spacious room with good quality bedding and ensuite facilities. The evening meal, served in a...
