Stayed here for 5 days on a business trip. The hotel is located out of town, on the side of the road, by the sea. The view from the room was quite nice (I had a room with sea view). The rooms were very clean, good amenities, large bathroom and cabin shower, comfortable bed, big dressing. Staff was very welcoming...

Driving from Aberdeen to Donegal for my wedding. Me and the other half stopped here for the night to break up this journey. This hotel has stunning views across to Ailsa Craig (better when sun shines) and is only 30 mins from ferry terminal at Cairnryan. The restaurant served tasty food in the evening and the breakfast was big and...

We stayed for an overnight break after arriving on the ferry from Ireland. The Woodland Bay is a small family run hotel on the A77 just south of Girvan. The simple exterior of the hotel is quite deceptive. We were shown to a freshly decorated, spacious room with good quality bedding and ensuite facilities. The evening meal, served in a...

we spent three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. i would have described it more as a motel than a hotel. the rooms were clean, modern, and with most facilities (our room was advertised as having a phone but there was none, and when i requested one was told none were available). this was probably the only black mark....

Located opposite the beach, just a road in between the room and beach but this was not noisy. Room was beautifully appointed with a fabulous sea view. Exceptionally clean, soft towels, tea and coffee facilities. Very spacious, light and airy. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
