We had a two night dinner, bed and breakfast weekend at Malin Court last summer. It was our first visit and we were very impressed by everything. We went back for a one night stay last weekend and it was every bit as good as the first time. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't be more pleasant or...

The Malin Court turned out to be the closest hotel to Girvan we could source for our party of 4, one night stop over. Check in went smoothly so off we went to our rooms to change to go out. The decor is smart and clean if some what old fashioned perhaps because it caters for a certain gentrified age...

Two nights in the most peaceful surroundings. Staff wonderful very friendly. Cotters restaurant was simply fantastic with nothing too much bother for them. Don't let the fact that it is also a joint care home put you off. The residents live in the ground floor and the guest occupy the top floor. Large spacious rooms with all you would expect....

Had a lovely day in Maidens visiting friends at their Static Caravan. We had a very long walk in the grounds of Culzean Castle. We finished this off with a lovely High Tea at Malin Court. Food & Staff were excellent.

I stayed hotel-side whilst my elderly parents were looked after care-side, and this arrangement worked really well. As other reviewers note, the staff are very pleasant and go out their way to be helpful. The restaurant provides an excellent choice of meals. The ambience is relaxing and the grounds are well kept. The set-up at Malin Court made it practical...

I have read previous reviews regarding concerns about this hotel being a hotel/old folks home complex. Yes, there are elderly occupants living permanently in their self contained apartments adjacent to the hotel but in no way does this detract from the fact that this is a lovely relaxing hotel to stay in. The location, the staff, the accommodation and the...
