A fantastic 2 night stay whilst visiting the distilleries of Islay. A fantastic breakfast with great homemade preserves. The Orange with Ardbeg 10 and the Blueberry and Lime were particular favorites. An absolute gem, Well worth the long journey to get there.

We stayed at the Cala Sith for a night in February 2011. Andrea was a wonderful host who made our two days on Islay a brilliant break. With a ton of local knowledge and a passion for the island we couldn't have asked for a better host. The B&B is located right near the ferry, and is a quick stroll...

Andrea owns and runs the Cala Sith Guest House. She booked all of our tours, helped us make our dinner plans, and arranged a last minute car for us. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is not only plentiful, but delicious. Make sure to request one of her many homemade jams. Of my many trips to the UK, this...

The guest house is located within steps of the ferry landing in Port Ellen making it extremely convenient. There is also ample parking if you are renting a car or bringing one to the island. Andrea is warm, welcoming and has a staff that is equally charming and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure that we...

My wife and I were given a friednly welcome by the owner when we arrived and we were shown around the facilities and room. All very good. Had a comfortable nights sleep in perfect peace, despite being very close to the ferry terminal (this is a bonus for the ferry terminal being nearby, easy access). Lovely breakfast served by the...

This is a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay, a real home-from-home. The Manager Andrea goes out of her way to ensure that her guests have everything they need for their stay. She was always on hand to give us advice on where to visit on the island and offered to book trips and Restaurants for us. I couldn't...

I stayed in Cala Sith Guest House with my brother for three nights for some sight-seeing on Islay, we visited most of the distilleries. Some of the main ones can even be reached from the guest house by walking, which has its advantages when doing a full whisky-tasting! Andrea, the landlady, did a great job booking all the tours for...

Andrea & the girls were friendly, interested & helpful. We had gorgeous veggie breakfasts & the homemade jam was good enough to carry the jars all the way around the island & home on our bikes! We stayed in two different rooms both of which were very pretty & pristinely clean (& no bed end is great for big tall...

Small rooms. Very nice and helpful owner who booked many things for us. Right off the ferry from Tarbert makes it convenient for those not bringing a car to the island.
