House is great, view is amazing and the hostess is super friendly and helpfull. We stayed on the island with a group of 7 friends for a hiking and whiskey tasting holiday. With her advice and help we had an even beter experience of the island than we could wish for.

My husband and I stayed with Carole at her bed and breakfast one night in April. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The house is on a farm a little way up from the main road, so it is very quiet. The room and bathroom were spacious with beautiful views and skylights. The lounge and dining area...

I stayed here in August last year whilst cycling around Islay with some friends. Due to the limited availability of accommodation in the area we had booked ahead and had also ordered our evening meal to save any bother after a long day in the saddle. We received a really warm welcome and were able to store our trusty steads...

I loved it here. Had yoghurt, toast, croissants, cereal, bacon, eggs, sausage, haggis, beans ,black pudding, fruit pudding for breakfast. Slept like a log in clean comfy room. Watched ferry go up and down, could walk to beach, distilleries and village and bars etc. Carole was so accommodating. Picked us up from ferry and even did our laundry . Good guest room too and place to keep...

If you're looking for a spot on Islay that is within walking distance of 3 of the big distilleries on the island, then nothing can beat Laphroaig View! The house is located right off the 3 distilleries path, so Laphroaig, Lagavulin, and Ardbeg are all just a short walk away. The house is also very easy to get to from...

I had a wonderful and welcoming stay on Islay in June of 2014. As a solo traveler I felt right at home and it was extremely comfortable stay. The full Scottish breakfast in the morning was simply wonderful and kept me going for long days of excursions. I had a beautiful view from the back of the well appointed room....
