This hotel is very well located with most of the rooms having views over the bay. Although the hotel seems a bit old, they have included a new Spa - Swimming pool facility which is of great value for the guests. Guest rooms are ok, although windows don´t have double glazing and heating system is not modern. I would suggest...

We spent three nights here as part of a Scottish tour, so the accommodation was not chosen by us. It was a really disappointing stay. The hotel is generally a bit shabby and threadbare, and needs a thorough refurbishment. There are huge rips in the corridor carpets. Most rooms involve a long walk from reception, and there's no lift. The...

Previous visit in 2013 and the hotel has become shabby. Our deluxe room was basic and the wooden bath panel was disintegrating at the top left corner. I had my 9 year old Granddaughter with me and her comment summed it up for me. "Granny this is the worst hotel we have ever been in" We both thought the food...

My husband booked this as a surprise for my Birthday and we were both very disappointed. Our deluxe room was in fact the room for disabled guests. We were allocated another room which was a long walk from reception and the corridors were shabby with worn carpets. My husband had requested chocolate strawberries and Prosecco to be in the room...

Easy commute from ferry. Staff couldn't do enough to help. Dining room staff all very pleasant and very obliging. Food was excellent quality with a very good taster menu and a la carte. The toast could have been toasted slightly better at breakfast but that was the only fault that we could find. Rooms all adequate and clean.

Located close to the ferry with great views from the upper floors. The staff were all friendly and efficient , food of a good quality. However the hotel and rooms are sadly in need of a makeover to bring them up to a modern fresh standard , something you need to consider if opting for this hotel.

We stayed here for the Easter weekend, driving up from Glasgow. Our bedroom was fairly basic but with a beautiful view. I think all the bedrooms have a view. We had dinner, bed and breakfast for three nights. The evening meals were adequate and breakfast was good. I liked the lounge areas and dining room views. The staff were helpful...

We booked this hotel through Hotel Connections and got a really good deal for DB&B. Rooms are pretty basic but totally fine, bed is comfy! A few reviews have mentioned the rooms being noisy but we didn't find that at all. Shower isn't great in the rooms but we used the pool area so were able to use the better...

We were not looking for a larger hotel, but this was one of the only places left to stay on the island. I was not impressed. While we had a beautiful view, rooms are mediocre at best. Ours had peeling paint in the bathroom and smelled of chlorine from the pool. The pool area looked clean and useful for kids....

hello and thanks for your feedback all of which was read with interest and discussed with the team. We have a very busy spa and leisure area and our treatments are well booked up in advance, and perhaps that was the reason for the surprise by the staff member when you asked- but I have discussed with the team a...
