Am just back from Isle of Mull hotel with my son whom has ASN and he was needing time away . Well i read previous post and thought was this same hotel as I can only say the staff was amazingly helpful friendly and approachable at reception and restaurant at all times.. nothing was a problem and they treated my lad appropriately and i felt genuine concern that his questions were answered. we got a really good deal and yes the food /drinks were a bit more than I usually pay but on checking other hotlels was good in comparison. On arrival i had best pot of tea ever and our meal steaks at night fantastic .. ill be back when i can .. would recommend maybe not for young kids .. but 10/10 for us
If you’re looking for decent customer service then go for most anywhere else on the Isle of Mull, the staff in here are shocking, unwilling to help, downright rude and at times - aggressive. I witnessed another customer at one point enquiring about an offer they had seen on Facebook and the member of staff was aggressively cutting her off and demanding over and over ‘show me the post’ show me the post! Show me!!’ And when the customer did she her there was no apology. I was greeted at the restaurant with a delightful’what do you want?!’ Just save your money and go elsewhere. Plus the pool is always freezing in winter because they don’t like to turn it up.
We have just come home from a lovely trip to the Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa. The hotel isn't overly pretty on the outside but makes up for it with a beautiful interior, a nice mix of modern and rural. The spa facilities were excellent. The staff were lovely to our 6 month old puppy who also thoroughly enjoyed his trip. Food in the restaurant was really good and the staff were very accommodating to my boyfriends dairy and wheat intolerance. We had a drink in the bar after our dinner and were slightly shocked at the £25 bill for two spirit mixers.
Fabulous hotel, great location near to ferry, well maintained, managed and staffed. Staff super welcoming and helpful. Excellent food in restaurant and well stocked bar with plenty of singalong malt whiskies. Really enjoyable stay fully recommend
Great deal, amazingly refurbed hotel, lovely spa with hottub views to die for, gorgeous food and incredibly friendly/genuine staff. Will be back for another girls' trip as it's a close break from Iona where I live
We loved this hotel, the location was perfect only 5 mins drive from the ferry. Lovely rooms which had clearly recently been refurbished and ours had a stunning sea view. We ate both nights in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. The waitress explained that they were short staffed but we didn’t notice to be honest and we wouldn’t have known if she hadn’t have said. The Spanish waitress was very bubbly and the other staff were very polite and friendly throughout our stay. We didn’t use the pool as there was a children’s swim class in progress but we did do the mud treatment which was great and very relaxing. We would definitely stay at this hotel again it was perfect for our first visit to mull.
Bar staff went out of their way to make us a mulled wine, even though it was not on their wine list. Absolutely delicious and stylishly served with cinnamon, aniseed and orange peel. Really appreciated the effort and the result!
Our first time to Hotel and Mull. We stayed for 2 nights. Spa treatments were fantastic. ,nice pool. the food amazing and afternoon tea was absolutely super. Staff were very helpful. It’s an absolute fantastic location. Room was lovely and comfortable. Only downside to hotel is all windows need replaced, thankfully due to refurbishing curtains in our bedroom are stunning and definitely helped with the wind.
Found a hidden gem !!! Stayed for a night , spotless hotel, food was delicious and a beautiful pool. Every member of staff was super friendly and would do anything for you, especially David and Ines. They certainly made our stay . They are very special people . Will definitely be back
Arrived for a 3 night stay, receptionist polite and helpful. Room was clean, warm and comfortable except no tea spoons for the use to make a hot drink. Food- restricted menu in use in the dining room ,service slow. No soup option as a starter, Breakfast - lack of choice especially breakfast cereals, waitress not understanding the cooked breakfast that i requested, also sugar being rationed I should not need to ask. Kitchen had ran out of gas mid-week prior to rally weekend, the bar had ran out of lemonade. Overall hotel management not interested, poor planning and preparation prior to a busy weekend. Not acceptable from a 4 star hotel.
