Stayed for 3 nights for my second visit to Mull. Dated Hotel but very good value for money. Perfect position and could be a gold mine with make over. Tired and needs a makeover and some TLC Staff a mixture of personalities some friendly one downright rude and abrasive, she did appear to wait on and clean and having watched...

Hello and thanks for your review of your stay. So pleased you did seem to enjoy it all. As with all hotels there is a constant programme of refurbishment and repainting and this does and will continue. At this early part of the season whilst we have many returning staff, some are new, and I feel sure that the young...

My partner & I spent a few nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic views, comfortable beds, good spa and tasty breakfast. Hotel is a little tired-could do with a lick of paint here and there and the wifi is temperamental to say the least- but do not let this put you off. It's an ideal place to stay...

Hello and many thanks for taking the time to review you stay. So pleased you enjoyed your visit and I am sure others will read your comments. Wifi- well we are on an island, but I can only say that currently the road works on the island are due to installation of fibre optic, so good things to come we...

Comfy rooms with sea views. Lovely food and friendly waiting staff...all of whom were not Scottish! The public areas are a bit soul less and were not condusive to staying in. Poor lighting tooo. But the spa was 1st class, with a warm pool, hot tub and after a fabulous massage from Elaine felt re energised.

We had a tasty meal in the lounge bar, there is only one vegan choice but it is fantastic. We also came back for a drink another day. The staff were very nice but they did not seem to know what they were doing and moved between the desk and the bar without being confident with either.

Hello and thanks for your visit and your review. I note your comments about the menu and would please mention that our chef team are happy to discuss if there is anything else we can provide. As for staff, as is usual within the industry, we do have new staff at this time of year and training is, of course,...

I'd booked a double room for over the easter weekend, but upon arrival discovered we had been put in a twin room, with the beds pushed together. Now, this is my pet hate - I wouldn't mind if the hotel had indicated through their third party agent with whom I booked, that the room may be a twin with the...

Hello, I am sorry to read your review, and whilst I do indeed apologise for any disappointment you felt on arrival, I believe your review is not exactly fair. As with most hotel rooms these days the beds are zip n link. This gives the freedom for the hotel to be able to provide twins and doubles.I regret that as...

I'm torn! There are very good things about this place and there great: spa, clean rooms, brilliant buffet breakfast, views, efficient staff. There are very poor things about this this restaurant and there bad: tired 70s decor in common areas, lack of atmosphere, poor evening meal (on third course before wine arrived, left hungry after 7 courses), cold, impersonal staff....

Hello and thanks for your review just posted, following your review last August. I am pleased that mostly you appeared to have enjoyed your stay. As with all hotels, there is a constant refurbishment programme and this is always ongoing, with fresh paint, etc. I am sorry if you were unhappy with the restaurant service, this is a very rare...

I was booked in here on the 02/04/2015 This honestly isn't the best place to stay in the area, the building looks scraggy and a bit run down, I expected a bit more seen as though it's a hotel and spa, my room was small but cosy......but had no wifi, I asked if they had wifi but only in the...

Hello and thanks for your review. I am sorry you were disappointed with the wifi, we do only advertise that wifi is available in the lounge, and there is no charge. Simply there is insufficient signal on the island to provide better at this point, although we hope for fibre optic next year. The exterior design of the building, does not...

We booked for a two night break to chill out after moving house. The service was first class as was the food. Could not find anything to complain about, unfortunately we ran out of time and did not manage to visit the spa but heard great comments from fellow guests. On the second night we had the misfortune to sit...

Went for one of the spa break deals, which was excellent. Enjoyed the outdoor Jacuzzi, which had lovely views across the water, sauna, steam room, foot spa and pool. Also had a back, neck and shoulder massage which was amazing. The deal included a light lunch, which was nice, but nothing special. However, for £35, it was really great value....

We stayed for 5 nights in October 2014 for the Mull Rally. We chose the hotel because my husband was a rally marshall, and so we wanted somewhere I could chill and and use the spa facilities. The location is excellent - right next to the ferry terminal which was perfect. The check in was good, with friendly staff. The...

Hello and thanks for your comments following your stay last October for the Mull Rally. I am so pleased you enjoyed the food and service. The rally weekend is a different weekend for the Hotel and we do offer a different option in the restaurant based on what the Rally requires. The design of the Hotel does mean that some...
