Stayed here back in 2016 and wished I had reviewed sooner. One day while traveling we needed a place to stay and stumbled upon the Otter Lodge. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, friendly and kind. Breakfast was delicious and they had so many great books in their library. Also loved the giant map in the breakfast/ sitting area. There is...

Excellent for location, cleanliness, comfort and food. Highly recommended. Quiet with a lovely view over Broadford Bay. Good facilities - a warm comfortable residents lounge with fridge and microwave available We will definitely stay here when we return to Skye.

We literally decided to drive up to Skye from Edinburgh at 1400 on Saturday 11th Feb with no plans around where to stay. We had our dog with us too - a border terrier who thankfully is well behaved! We were advised to give Otter Lodge a call after trying the hotel next door which was fully booked. Vanessa and...

We came to Skye for the Cuilins and chose the Otter Lodge as our base. And we had such a great atmosphere at the Otter Lodge. Thank you Vanessa and Martin for making us love the Skye! Route advice, weather forecast, maps and a super outdoor library - we find it all at Otter Lodge. And the Scotch lesson was...

Based on reviews, we booked for one night as a stop-over on our travels from Edinburgh to Kyle of Lochalsh and up to Uig the next day to catch the ferry to Tarbet. We originally were trying to book a place stay in Portree but could not find anything. We were glad we couldn't! Otter Lodge is a very nice...

We booked 2 nights at Otter Lodge on spec after we arrived on Skye - saw the 'vacancy' sign and went in. This is a lovely family run B&B and we enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. We had a bathroom to share with another room, but there was no-one in that room so we had it...

Quite recently my friend and I booked to stay at the Otter Lodge for 3 nights during September. We booked in advance and chose the Otter Lodge due to it's positive reviews and reasonable cost, not so much the location as we had the car in order to get around with ease. The Otter Lodge is everything it claims to...

We had finished the NC500 (E to W) and decided to head to Skye for a couple of nights. This seemed to be one of the only places in Broadford that had a double room available for 1 night. Owner was very welcoming. Fast check-in. Very clean. This was a budget option reflected by the fact that there is a...

My husband and I stayed in the VERY large room #4 (the one in the photo) and it felt like we were in our own wing! I guess, technically, we were since it was the end of the house with no upper floor. Very comfortable, nice view, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, free parking, easy to get to. I loved the...

Otter Lodge ticks all the boxes - friendly, homely, comfortable. I stayed in the single room by the stairs (mentioned in previous reviews) and I didn't hear a sound. Fantastic shower, hot and powerful, wonderful freshly cooked breakfast, stunning views, highly recommended.

Thanks. We replaced the old wooden stairs earlier this year and we're glad to hear it seems to be working!
