We spent two nights at the Atholl House when visiting the Isle of Skye. It's a little out of the way, but allows easy access to almost anywhere you would want to visit. The rooms were modern, but cozy and warm and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They recommended places to eat and sights to see - even... More

The rooms were quaint and comfortable. Our friends had good Wifi access, but our room did not, which was a little disappointing, but I just had to go to the common area to make travel arrangements. We arrived on a Sunday and nothing whatsoever was open when we arrived except for one restaurant within walking distance (Old School). Book dinner... More

Stayed here for one night recently on a trip through Scotland. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The bedroom was fine as well as the dining room and breakfast. The bathroom was in poor repair and was very tiny. The sink was very small and hardly useable, the flooring seemed unstable, and the shower fixture and pipes that... More

The owners of this B&B were very friendly and helpful with questions about the area. We visited Stein Inn one evening per recommendation from them/Him. The drink and fare were good and the location was very quaint. The midgies were horrid that evening though. The trip to the Stein Inn was 11miles on one lane road with pull outs, First... More

Felt unwelcome and more like a burden. Shower water pressure was weak. The room was ok but the bed was uncomfortable where i was tossing and turning all night. The town is quaint and the views were amazing.

Lovely rooms! Perfect central location for walking the area. You can see the standing stone from outside the house! Peggy's breakfast offerings are delightful and her coffee is the real deal! We were well taken care of while staying here.Do explore this area's rich history and beautiful sea cliffed beaches. Don't miss the standing stone and self-guided tour of the... More

Rooms were bright and very airy. Breakfast was very good and included. The sitting room was very welcoming. The owners are very friendly. Atholl is right in the middle of the little town and near the Dunvegan Castle and other walking places. Alot to do close by.

For the room charge ( Superior ) the standard was found wanting. Just cleaning the Windows would have helped. TV reception was poor. It has a bar but does not serve drinks ?. Breakfast was meager, even the fried egg was solid. No evening food.

Dear Mr. Dilks, Thank you for taking the time to review Atholl. I apologise for the reception on your tv on the first night of your stay, unfortunately this is out of our control being dependant on the mast that relays our signal, however there is a television in the guests lounge that is cable and much more reliable. My family and I stayed here for, sadly, only a night as part of a longer trip between Ireland and Scotland. While we got lucky in that every place we stayed at was really lovely, Atholl House was my favorite. The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The staff were the kindest people and were... More

The owners, Betty and Donald, are adorable, very friendly and helpful people. Our room was very clean and comfy, the bathroom was tiny but that was no problem at all ...we just loved our 3 night stay there ! The house is ideally situated to visit this beautiful island. We will return....We were very sad to leave.
