We've stayed with a friend only for one night as it was fully booked, but it was the lovliest place we've stayed so far in Scotland, the rooms were so cozy that we could stay indoors for a week and admire the countryside from the upper window, I also recommend getting up early and catching stunning sunrise over the mountains....

Absolutely loved our stay at An Cnoc. From arrival to departure, Dianne was a wonderfully capable, funny, tireless and warm hostess. She really makes the stay the amazing experience it is. Our room, though small, was spotless, well stocked with everything we could have wanted, and had a captivating view of the surrounding landscape that makes you really feel like...

This was a highlight of our 2-week trip to the United Kingdom. The location was out of the way, making us a bit nervous as we drove there. However, once there, we realized we had made the perfect choice for exploring the Isle of Skye. It was nice to be in the country, away from Portree, but close enough to...

Great B&B in a peaceful location. Our room was immaculate and Diane was a fantastic host. Would certainly recommend if you want to stay away from Portree but near some of the best landscapes on the island.

My daughter booked this for me as a weekend away. It was a great location to go walking and we spent two days on Skye using this as our base - it was perfect in every way and the welcome from the hosts was great. Just make sure you have good directions - it is not difficult to find at...

We spent two nights here and enjoyed it and the surrounding area very much. Dianne is very friendly and helpful with what to see on the island. The house is cozy, spotless and located in a beautiful, restful spot. We drove into Portree both nights for dinner and didn't mind the drive at all (20 minutes). It was worth the...

We could not find fault with this immaculate, beautifully presented B&B, which was very good value for money. The bedroom was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very tastefully decorated. The shower room again was immaculate with plenty of fluffy towels and good quality toiletries. The breakfast was very generous with excellent choices to suit all tastes, and served in a...

I stayed at An Cnoc for a night before getting the ferry to Harris. Once I had found it (it is a good way up the hill on a narrow road but well lit up at night!) I was made most welcome and shown to a newly fitted out room with comfortable bed and tiny but spotlessly clean bathroom. The...
