We stayed for two nights in a group that had both rooms. We were in the Primrose which felt ever so slightly larger (maybe?) than Bluebell, but both had the same modern finish and amazing view over the hills and bay. The huge bed was so comfortable and the rain shower felt like luxury, with great water pressure. Vicki, the owner, was also super accommodating for us and made a delicious breakfast each morning (for which you have several choices every day). There was also a Nespresso machine with loads of capsules, mini fridge and various biscuits and cereals in the room, along with fresh milk and juices. Vicki left some baked treats each day too. Could not recommend this place enough! We are already planning our next trip to Skye.

One tip: Restaurants in Skye get extremely busy in the summer. Many are open for limited hours and get booked up well in advance. So do look around weeks ahead if you can and book somewhere. We did not and got lucky one night that the nearby Uig Hotel could fit us in (for a great dinner). The other two nights we were not so lucky and had to do with takeaway fish & chips from Portree several miles away, after spending a huge amount of time calling around and dropping in on about a dozen places in various villages with no success. So book dinners early!

Amazing!! The room is beautifully decorated, very clean, new and spacious. The views from your room are to die for. I'll never forget waking up to that view out our window and enjoying it over a delicious breakfast every morning. I was surprised by how many choices we had for breakfast which was great and who knew porridge could be so tasty?? That was my favorite but everything was great. The robes in the room were a nice touch since we took advantage of the hot tub at night! The location was perfect and Vicky was so helpful when planning our hikes. She also gave me her porridge recipe and the info on the local artist who did all the paintings in the rooms so we could commission a piece to bring home. I'd definitely recommend!

Fantastic location for exploring Skye. We had an incredibly relaxed and comfortable stay - the breakfasts / afternoon cakes were delicious, Vicki was really welcoming and the room felt really luxurious and comfortable. Perfect place to relax after active days exploring the island.
Would absolutely recommend!

Couldn’t have wished for a better stay on Skye. Andy and Vicki went out of their way to make our stay special with personal so many touches such as home baked cakes, fresh juices and milk each day. The accommodation and view was beautiful and we were able to make use of the two man kayak (seeing a seal in the bay) as well as the hot tub. The boat trip to see the puffins and seal colony was also wonderful. We would highly recommend this luxury B & B to anyone wishing to explore the island.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a 10 day trip around the west coast of Scotland. Stones B&B was by far the best place we stayed and we would highly recommend it. The rooms have great views across the bay so it’s a perfect position even on a rainy day. The decor in our room was to a really high standard too (we stayed in the Bluebell room). Vicki served an amazing breakfast each morning and was very helpful in accommodating my wife who is lactose intolerant. We really enjoyed visiting the Fairy Glen which is only 5 minutes from the B&B. We will definitely be staying here again

This really is an unbelievable place to stay and it was a 5 star stay from start to finish. We stayed in the Primrose room overlooking the pier for three nights. The room is so modern and stylish with a fantastic large bed and brilliant waterfall shower. There were so many nice touches throughout: freshly made muffins and lemon drizzle cake each day: fresh juices left in the fridge each day and; a fantastic choice of breakfasts brought to your door by Vicki each morning. Vicki and Andy were very helpful and friendly throughout. The hot tub is also an added bonus! The accommodation is about a 20 minute drive from Portree and in the middle of Uig which suited us just fine. Really cannot recommend this accommodation enough and genuinely felt a little jealous of the next guests coming in after us!

Room Tip: The Galley and Hebridean Shack are good hidden gems to eat as is the Lower Deck in Portree.

Uig was a fantastic little place, and this little B&B was everything you could ask for. Modern, comfy rooms, with an ensuite, we took a dip in the sea before using the hot tub which was tremendous. The breakfast was delicious and vegan friendly and delivered right to the room. The host Vicki was really friendly and welcoming and it was a pleasure to stay there. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Uig. We walked up to the Uig Hotel for dinner in the evening on the recommendation of the host, and we visited the fairy Glen the next day which is a must see if you stay!

Fantastic B+B, totally spotless and in a superb location with excellent views of the bay.
Vicki was very welcoming and helpful, the room was superb and of a very high standard.......sweet treats and smoothies in the room fridge were toped up daily.
Super hot tub.
Breakfasts were first class, especially the sausages!....served promptly at a time of your choosing.
Would definitely recommend and stay there again without a second thought.

Amazing place to stay, the room was immaculate. We stayed here for a couple of nights and it felt like a home from home. Nothing was a bother or hassle for Vicky she easily accommodated my gluten free into breakfast options for me. She has everything covered and is so nice. We loved all of the touches in the room from having milk and juice in our fridge to the selection of teas and coffee. The room and everything in it is beautifully decorated. Loved waking up to the beautiful view out of our window and equally loved sitting at night as it was getting dark. Vicky was so helpful in giving us ideas on where to go and what to see. The b&b is ideally situated as a great base to explore Skye. When we go back to Skye this is where we will try for first, can not recommend Stones and Vicky enough. It really was an amazing stay from start to finish. (Pictures are view from our room)

Total luxury in an idyllic setting from our 3 night stay at Stones. Our room, Primrose, was spacious and modern with awesome views and a great shower! Vicki has thought of everything - we loved the little touches such as Nespresso machine in the room and daily scrumptious homemade cakes and brownies. The breakfasts, served in our room so we could eat overlooking the beautiful bay, were delicious. Lots of choice - starters of smoothies, granola or porridge with whisky, cream and honey, and lots of main course options.
A truly memorable stay.
