Good service from the staff. Rooms are clean, modern, warm and nicely finished. Convenient for ferry. Very good breakfast, lots of choices. Nice bar and restaurant areas. Hotel staff allowed me a late checkout no problem. On the downside, my single room was tiny. So small that a bigger bloke than me would find it unacceptably small in there. Noisy construction site outside, 7.15am until 7pm whilst I was there. Long term major job. The water pipes are very noisy. Exacerbated by the fact the room is so small so you hear your neighbour more easily. Next time I would stay elsewhere.

My husband and i stayed at The Hotel Hebrides and loved it so much. We were given the warmest of welcomes and checked in to our deluxe room. Everything in the room screamed class - they have local Ishga and Essence of Harris toiletries and a mini fridge which was a nice touch as i don’t like UHT milk so was able to store fresh in here - this was our first visit but were informed the rooms have been recently renovated and they are so tastefully done. We ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was outstanding. We feasted on lobster, scallops and mussels...simply delicious. However, the real highlight of our stay was breakfast. My husband and i travel extensively for work and can honestly say this was the best breakfast we have ever had - the menu is extensive with locally smoked haddock, salmon and scrambled eggs, eggs royale, french toast brioche the works! The presentation and quality was like something you would see at some of the finest London hotels - my porridge arrived with a side of fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries and my husbands Eggs Royale was delicious garnished with micro herbs. We checked out very happy customers and won’t hesitate to rebook on our next visit to the beautiful Island of Harris.

Actually open!!! Lovely local sea food which seemed pretty hard to come across, and very friendly and chatty staff. They were very happy to welcome us! Good atmosphere, we had both a breakfast bap and dinner! Would recommend both!

Like many I have been stuck at home for way to long, so I had plenty time to think of where I would want to go more than anything once I was allowed. No brainier it had to be the Isle of Harris and it had to be the Hotel Hebrides. In the past I have stayed in both the cottages and the Hotel and I have never been disappointed. Food incredible, rooms first class and staff as good as you will get. Harris here I come.

The Hotel Hebrides made my first visit to the stunning Isle of Harris memorable before I even set off from London. Marina on reception gave me tips on where to go, which stunning white beaches to stroll along, the best hikes to attempt & made the whole booking experience seamless. I would highly recommend a two bedroom suite with a small but fully equipped kitchen, contemporary white tiled bathroom, and living space or one of the newly renovated hotel rooms. The owners have thought of everything - coffee pods, fresh milk, white bathrobes - even lovely bubble bath ! And the local fare is divine. Try the trio of fish - so fresh & delicious I had it twice! Porridge, smoked haddock & a traditional Scottish cooked breakfast fab. Great wine, whisky, Harris Gin (the distillery is a stones throw away) but most importantly great staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Suffice to say, I'll be back - for pleasure rather than business next time : )
