With spectacular views and high quality furnishings this really was a spectacular setting for a wedding. The bar staff and waiter/waitresses were very polite and efficient and I have nothing bad to say about anything so why only 4 stars and not 5?
Unfortunately there is no reception area for guests and those guests staying without their cars have to literally drag their cases uphill, along unmade roads for 150-200 yards.
My wife who wanted to return to our snug had to walk in high heels both up, down and then up again at the end of the evening. A little golf buggy to help transport guests and their luggage to and from the main venue would be a good investment.
You order breakfast the previous day and it is delivered to you snug at around 9.45am. It’s basic but nevertheless it’s very palatable.

We were in Snug 2 as a last minute reservation to celebrate my husband’s retirement. It was so easy to check in, the staff emailed us a code for the door and we were settled in. Oh my goodness, what beautiful accommodation in an equally beautiful environment. Spotlessly clean, so much attention to detail including quality refreshments and breakfast include in the price. There was a lovely wedding on when we arrived and many of the guests were staying in neighbouring snugs but we didn’t hear a thing all night, so well soundproofed was our accommodation. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back.

Booked a last minute two night solo stay to recharge. Snug was clean. WiFi not great if bringing fire stick. Please remember this is a wedding venue so yes there will be noise mostly music from the venue, but this did not disrupt my sleep. Would revisit. Have a video clip of snug but unable to upload.
