I've not stayed in this hotel, only frequented the bar. 'Very' and friendly, attentive and helpful. Food portions are too big (for me anyway) and tasty and good menu diversity. If you are in the area it is well worth dropping in and sampling.

Hotels in the Scottish Highlands can be a bit of a hit or miss - this one is definitely a hit! Rooms are compact but comfortable in all respects - food first class. Both our evening meal and breakfast exceeded expectations. Would definitely go again. Good homely atmosphere in the bar (Bit surprised to see no craft gins though!).

While on my first day of travelling the North Coast 500, I elected to stay overnight at Poolewe in the Poolewe Hotel. I don't believe I could have picked out a better night stop. The check-in was quick, efficient and friendly. Better was to come though from the evening meal. Though disappointed they had sold out of the Mussels (a...

My wife and I stayed for one night as part of our North Coast 500 trip. If you are used to Europe's city hotels, then you may be disappointed, but remember that this is a small West Highland hotel, adjust your expectations accordingly and you will be rewarded with a really pleasant stay. The bedroom was small but clean, well...

Staying for one night on a Friday, arrived in the rain..well it is Scotland! Hotel is being upgraded with new furniture and cosy sofas which make the place look nice but the atmosphere is a little cold still as lighting is too bright and main bar very open and echoey. Also the downstairs needs air freshener as there is still...

I was looking around the area, decided to have lunch. I had lunch in the bistro. Very clean and warm with good views. Food was very good with excellent service. The bar was attended on this day by one of the chef's (helping out on his otherwise day off).

We arrived to our pre booked room at about 5pm. Our twin room in the annexe was spacious and scrupulously clean. Large bath in bathroom accompanied by 2 sets of towels and 2 sets of toiletries.
