Very generous and delicious breakfast, comfortable room, and friendly service. Only about 2-minutes' walk from the village centre. The host was certainly not "in your face" at all; in fact, it was hard to find her when we checked in and when we checked out....More

We stayed at Cranford late April of 2006 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to return with extended family within the next few years. How many rooms are available in the house? How many people can be accommodated at one time. We are 12 adults and 6 children. (6 couples, 3 m, 3 fem offspring) We're thinking either early September (after hols) or after Easter hols. 3 couples + 2m children will be traveling from California, U.S. The rest from southern U.K.

Hi John and Marilyn,
Alastair and I bought Cranford in February 2010, and are now entering our 6th season..! We hope to be here for many years to come. I'm not sure who owned the Guest House in 2006; there were a lot of changes in ownership over that time. We would be really pleased to have you and your family to stay; our accommodation now comprises:
1 small twin ensuite
1 twin/kingsize ensuite
1 double ensuite
1 twin with private bathroom
1 family room ensuite (1 double and 1 or 2 singles)
As you can see, we couldn't accommodate you all but extra accommodation can be found close by.
We are already fully booked from 3rd - 7th September this year as the Braemar Gathering is always the first weekend in September.
Let us know when you have more idea of when you would like to come and we can check our availability.
Sarah and Alastair
You can find our website if you search for Cranford Guest House Braemar, it won't let me add a link in this reply..
