Met a friend here for lunch - never been before. Great selection on menu Decided to have a baked potato with prawns - best baked potato I’ve had in ages. Service was very good & didn’t have long to wait. Very reasonable priced too Will definitely be back to try more of their menu !!
I very much enjoyed staying at this friendly hotel in the middle of likeable Kirriemuir. I was in the area to visit the very special 'Angus Glens'. My double room (No10!!) was so comfortable, clean and spacious. The bar provided a wide range of drinks as did the food menu and my evening meal was so tasty. I went for a full Scottish breakfast in the morning and it was one of the best I have tasted. Unique to the hotel and situated in the upstairs corridor was a 'room refill station' so that you could help yourself to items you felt you needed - such a nice touch.
Used an Itison voucher for Pizza or Pasta on our visit to the establishment today and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and everyone was obeying the COVID rules. There was a wide variety on the menu and I really enjoyed the Scottish Pizza which had haggis and black pudding in the ingredients. My wife had macaroni cheese with a side of fries. This was our second visit here and we will certainly visit again. Highly recommended
Have stayed here a few times over the Covid period with work. I really like staying here as the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is good and the rooms very comfortable and nicely refurbished.
