Had a double room with private bathroom directly across the hall. This is obviously one of those neighbourhoods where you can still leave doors and windows wide open, which is reassuring to know. The tea/coffee/cups were in the wardrobe and not readily apparent - so remember to look there as it might not be pointed out. Our room overlooked the... More

Felt like I was staying at my Grandma's house (in a good way). Clean and cosy, everything you need and amazing breakfast spread. The rooms had a kettle, sink and good wifi, the private shower room was great. Located close to pub and shops with great views from the back. Garden was v quaint. Would certainly recommend if passing through... More

We had the pleasure of staying overnight at Hermon during our walking holiday, we were made to feel completely at home, breakfast was amazing, gardens were gorgeous, a tv in our room would have been perfect, but we did have the option of using a private sitting room, we couldn't get connected to the wifi.

I was a solo walker travelling South on the West Highland Way potentially arriving late having taken a latish bus up to Fort William. The sisters told me not to worry about arriving late (they would keep the room for me) and then were willing to get up to provide me with a 7 am breakfast which other places were... More

Hmm, I was oblivious to any religious books or vibes at the B&B - possibly too tired or just ignorant. One of the highlights of the place was the food for sure. If you like homemade bread, and packed lunches with brownies, toffees, and rich fruit cake (together with the usual sandwiches and chips), this is the place to go.... More

This is a nice place to stay: mrs MacAngus was very friendly, we found the room spacious and the breakfast delicious. But, like GlasgowKauri, I would not recommend this B&B to same sex couples: I was walking the West Highland Way with my wife and had, upon booking the accommodation along the Way, requested a double room. Each B&B and... More

This is an old-fashioned B&B- two sisters who have turned their home into a place for strangers to kip and have breakfast. It's not too far a walk from the West Highland Way where it ends up in Kinlochleven, although it is right in the middle of a residential area rather than a town centre. It's only about 10 minutes...
