We had a good night's stay here although the beds were very soft for our taste. The shower was wonderful and the view of the wet and cloudy mountains and river lovely. Service at breakfast and lunch was a bit haphazard but the food was good.

All good, really good. The proprietor was very friendly and very knowledgable of the local area - as he is born and bred in Kinlochleven. Lovely rooms and a brilliant view from the bar. Will definately revisit!

The Highland getaway has done a major revamp and i must say it looks very nice. The only issue i have is the front door is kept unlocked and not sure why we could not have a key to teh front door to let ourselves in for added security. The room was clean new and comfortable but the bathroom was...

Thank you for your great review and we are pleased you liked the improvements made to the property. We try very hard to keep improving things to make our guests comfortable. I understand your concerns re the locking main door, but we have had no problems as all the premises are checked through out the night. However it is something we...

I planned to go skiing for a couple of days at Glencoe. I found a hotel approx.7 miles away and booked for 3 nights, as I passed the ski centre I saw I still had 18 miles to go, my search had been from Glencoe village. I arrived and explained I may only stay one night, this was no issue...

We stayed here on the WHW trip, beaten and battered at this point :-) The twin room was superb, very clean, large and spacious and I enjoyed the small touches of the decor in Asian/eastern style - which adds some subtle character. The beds were the best on the whole trip, slept like a log. Great little patio garden outside...

My wife and I have stayed at the 'Highland Getaway' before on a number of occasions and we keep going back because we know that we will always be well looked after by the owners and staff. The bedrooms are out of this world and are furnished to a very high standard. Their adjoining restaurant and bar has a balcony...

We spent only one night at the Highland Getaway in Kinlochleven. We were pleasantly surprised as our guide book described the town in a rather unflattering way. We found it to be just fine. I stayed here for one night whilst walking the West Highland Way. The room was clean and newly refurbished. It had everything you could need.
