We spent two nights at The Stables in beautiful Achnamara. This was our first B & B experience in Scotland and Steve & Colette certainly set the bar high. The room was spacious and comfortable, the setting was beautiful, the food lovely, but it was our hosts that really made this experience exceptional. Steve is very knowledgeable about the history...

It’s a place to get away from it all and is a quite sleepy place. Tucked away and secluded. Beautiful landscapes and scenery. Breakfast was great wonderful selection. Steve and Colette are very nice hosts. Not many people mention the too much about the room quality on trip advisor which is odd because for me the room made it. Big...

Peaceful and beautifully restored Stables. Spacious rooms and lounge. Can look at the stars at night and enjoy delicious breakfasts. Near Kilmartin archeological site full of Scotland's history, also near dinner at Kilmartin, splendid.

Spotlessly clean, spacious and modern accommodation - this is by far one of the nicest B&Bs we've ever stayed in. Collette and Steve are wonderful hosts and really go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and well-looked after.

A great bed and breakfast well away from the hum drum. A quiet retreat which I would go back to again and will. I was there on business and it had great wi-fi access. Steve(the owner) is very friendly, helpful but too chatty!! nearly missed my work. A must see place. Really quiet in the forest. Loved it.

Steve and Collette are amazing hosts - they have thought of everything! This has to be one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. It was absolutely spotless. The cooked breakfasts were delicious too. The location beautiful even in the rain!! Have been telling all of our family and friends about The Stables and plan to come back again...
