We stopped here for an overnight stay, en route to our destination Mallaig. Reception was first rate, very welcoming/friendly. Dogs welcome, essential for us. Meal in hotel bar was PERFECT, delicious food. Service excellent. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Cannot fault the hotel as a warm, friendly place to recharge batteries. Wish we could stay longer.

We had a great ground floor room that was clean and comfortable. The restaurant served dinner as well as the included breakfast which was plentiful. The staff is very helpful and cordial. The food is sourced locally so it is as fresh as can be. Located about a 35 minute drive from Inverary so don't miss the castle there. Parts...

I was one of four motorcyclists travelling south from Ullapool, we rang around earlier that evening to find accommodation and Brander Lodge was the first in possibly six we had called that had any vacancies. Rolling up an hour later we were greeted by David on reception and allocated our rooms. Rooms were basic but clean and the bathroom was...

I stayed here on business for two nights and found the place to be more than adequate. My room was comfortable, clean and the bathroom looked to have been recently refurbished and was very nice. The bar area is nice and traditional and serves a good range of beers and whiskies. I had food on both nights and it was...

We had a lovely time here. The staff were very accommodating , breakfast set us up for a good day walking. The bar in the evening was naturally atmospheric had a nice selection of whiskey and Celtic entertainment. Have to say the helicopter parked on the lawn added a sophisticated touch. Had a great chat with the owner and there...

Stayed 2 nights to explore the area- lots to see and do, with Oban about 15 minutes away. Good friendly atmosphere, nice clean room with modern en suite facilities. We dined here both nights and enjoyed excellent food with a good variety on the menu. There was also an excellent choice for breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed only one night, and wished it could have been longer. A lovely welcome awaited from the very friendly staff. Food in the restaurant and bar is first class, both tasty and well presented, from fresh ingredients at a very reasonable price. The bed was very comfortable, the room spotlessly clean and the power shower blasts away the cobwebs...
