Stayed in Ashfield House with a friend after doing a spot of hill walking. It was my first time here but will certainly not be my last! Everything about the stay was enjoyable right from the complimentary malt whisky on arrival. Cristina is a delightful host and the decor of the house is very tastefully done. I showed my wife...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night during a cycling tour of the area. First-rate B&B in perfect position overlooking Loch Long. The friendly owner Cristina booked our evening meal, gave us a single malt before we set out and also recommended we tour the Glengoyne distillery, which we visited several days later (well worth it, by the...

Ashfield House is a wonderful place, clean, beautifully decorated. Cristina's taste shines through. It is exquisitely decorated throughout. The house is off the road looking out across the loch and hills beyond. Cristina is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble for her. She offers to help with dinner reservations and places to see and she kindly offered me...

What a wonderful B&B in a beautiful setting! Christina was a tentative host and made us feel very welcome. A great couple of nights get away, with plenty of outdoor walking to do straight from the doorstep of the B&B and a luxurious room to retreat to. Tip : places to eat in the area close quite early, so a...

Thank you Nathalie for your review. It was a pleasure having you stay and I am glad you enjoyed your visit and the rooms. There are a couple places for dining in town that do stay open later (9:00 pm last serving) however, others do stop serving early, hence our quite extensive menu guide and arranging reservations for guests. I...

Stayed one night in the loch view room, was welcomed by Cristina and shown to our lovely room. It was everything I expected and more, it was spotlessly clean with good quality furniture and bedding and she had left welcome treats on the side to enjoy with a drink. She had thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable....
