For me and the boyfriend's three year anniversary we decided to have a little overnight stay - not that we ever need an excuse! We stumbled across Goldberry Cottage online and immediately loved the idea of staying there - it looked so pretty and had a guaranteed view of Loch Long (which would probably make my top five Scottish lochs...

We chose our accommodation on seeing reviews, and were not disappointed, the area was secluded and had amazing views which we were indulged in over breakfast, which by the way was outstanding, we found Mandy and her husband James, the perfect hosts, welcoming and so friendly, Mandy booked us a table for our Saturday meal, which was just as lovely...

We stayed for two nights and were impressed with our room and the view! The cottage is on the edge of Loch Long and the view is of the village across the other side. Our room was beautiful and modern with a good size shower room. Breakfast, which was well cooked and plentiful, is served in the conservatory which again...

We had a really great stay at the Goldberry B&B, everything was perfect. A beautiful room with enough space, a nice and clean bathroom. Mandy and her husband are very friendly. Mandy reserved a table for us at a restaurant in Arrochar and she gave us advice about things we could do. The breakfast was really delicious and we had...

This was merely a one-night stay as we were on the way to Skye. It was a good night and served up a beautiful breakfast in its conservatory facing the lake. Only slight discomfort was the size of the room - we come from afar and had medium-large huge luggages, so we could only open the medium one by the...

We only stayed here one night but were generally happy with the accommodation. My only reason for not classifying it as excellent is because I left with a number of bruises on my legs due to the shape of the bed in a small room. The bottom of the bed is heavy and curved and at thigh height (in my...

Located just beyond the shore of Loch Long, Goldberry Cottage offered wonderful loch views from the breakfast room. Binoculars were on hand in case we wished to see any of the scenery close-up, and our friendly hosts were always available to advise on things to do in the local area. Our en suite room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable,...
