I recently spent 5 nights on B&B with my wife and daughter at the Arrochar hotel. The hotel to be fair is a little tired and due a make over, however the wonderful views across Loch Long and the surrounding countryside more than make up for this. We had driven up from Glasgow Airport so the location was perfect to...

Evey thing from the chintsy old decorations to the staff are wonderful. We stayed one night and after a warm welcome, good food and even care from the manageress with little things like offering honey for my tea because I was poorley and not having to move my own bags.. We stayed another two as it made the differance for...

Food is nothing out of the ordinary, but service is very good. Itison deal makes it an attractive value-for-money choice. Hotel's location is a big plus, with plenty of car-parking spaces. TV (a rather small one) reception poor, but expected in these regions; forget good FM radio stations, especially DAB. Local walks available, but watch out for narrow roads (if...

Firstly, let me make it clear that I chose the hotel for its close location to my business meeting, which is to be literally next door. On arrival check in was extremely efficient, given all the necessary information, but lacked a personal touch. "Welcome, how was your journey today?" is all it would take. The hotel itself is stuck in...

We stayed at this hotel after buying an ITISON voucher which was for 2 nights stay with dinner on one night and a bottle of wine in your room. The day before travelling here we looked at some reviews on Trip Advisor which did not rate the hotel in a very good light with comments about a lot of time...

Great location with friendly staff. Only stayed for one night but could have easily stayed longer. Room was comfortable and clean with lovely views. Breakfast was a very high standard. This hotel is excellent value for money and we would definitely return.

For this price the rating is 'excellent'. We have stayed in lots of hotels in this price range and this is one of the best. There are a few piffling drawbacks, but do you really want to pay a lot more money to stay somewhere that is perfect? The biggest drawback is the weather but this is a Temperate Rain...

Stayed for just one night and found everything to be perfectly adequate. No complaints. The twin room was clean, had lovely comfortable beds and the bathroom was spotless. We had booked bed and breakfast but chose to have our evening meal there too which was freshly cooked and tasty. Breakfast was great (full Scottish). Staff were all polite and obliging....
