Very reasonably priced hotel in a great location right of the edge of Loch Long. Ideal as a base to visit the areas other Lochs and attractions. Hotel is a little dated and rooms where on the small size and need updating but you wouldn't get what you get for the price you pay if the where. Food was good...

Hotel room was clean with great views of Loch Long. Bathroom was clean, we asked if we could have an extra bath towel and this was provided immediately. Only drawback was mixer tap for shower, with the hot water tap having to run for a wee while to get the water sufficiently hot before engaging mixer button. We also requested...

Stayed here for one night to break our journey north. Needed a dog-friendly place so we're limited for choice and at least they take dogs here. Room clean but very basic, en-suite even more so and couldn't shower without being scalded as the control was broken. We were late arriving as we'd had car trouble but they were not willing...

I find it hard to say anything good about this hotel. There was a distinct smell of damp as soon as you walked in the front door. The receptionist was less than friendly. The room looked out onto a brick wall, no view of the Loch. The bedroom stank of bleach and there was mould on the ceiling and walls...

Quite disappointed with my stay here. I know this is a two star establishment so maybe my expectations were too high but the quality of the room was disappointing. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and creaked anytime you moved, the walls had patch work paint, the television had lines across the screen and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling...

Stayed here on the 29th April as part of a motorcycle group. The room was ok for a night, I had a Loch view and although there was enough room for one it was rather dated, it could do with a little spruce up, my bathroom was small but did have a decent shower, also came with a complimentry hole...

We stayed one night whilst touring Scotland. The setting is superb. The staff were very helpful, polite and very friendly. The room was perfect. We had an evening meal which was delicious and breakfast the following morning which was wonderful! The best poached egg I have ever had! The beds were extremely comfy and had the best night sleep of...
