Arrived in Drymen at about 2 p.m., so wandered around the town getting our bearings. Tom kindly allowed us into our rooms early, we did offer to sit outside on the bench in the sun if it wasn't convenient. After an informative chat about eating places, we had to leave Tom to carry on cleaning the windows. Lovely ensuite room,... More

We only stayed for a single night while winding our way down through the Cairngorms and past Loch Lomond on our way back to Glasgow. This was a lovely last night in Scotland. A clean, well appointed room, spotlessly clean and quiet. The shower was really good. Nice touches like free WiFi and a packed munch menu in the room... More

Ashbank is ideally located close to the village centre. We received a warm welcome from Tommy when we checked in, who provided useful local information and was helpful regarding parking, as space was tight. Our room was of a good size and the shower room was huge. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.... More

We had a wonderful time in Ashbank. The room is clean and warm. The owner is so nice! Don't hesitate to stay here. The towels and bed linen are smelling good from the laundry. The breakfast is tasty. We don't eat meat, so we got a fresh smoked salmon with our eggs The food at the nearby pub was also... More

Now this IS what I call a B&B, incredible standards and amazing cleanliness. Tommy and Cooper the working cockers' welcome was fantastic and Tommy was so friendly and willing to help moving bags from room to room etc. Made our stay on the West Highland way even better than it already was. I booked in here as I couldn't get... More

Stayed here while walking the West Highland Way. The owners were very welcoming and the room was very comfortable although it was small. Good filling breakfast. Ashbank is located close to the centre of Drymen near the various pubs and restaurants.

We stayed here for one night after hiking from Milngavie on the West Highland Way. We were given a warm welcome and although our room was small it was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely too with a really great shower. The breakfast was excellent.
