New Year's Eve came and we decided to spend it in Scotland (Loch Lomond) and its fair to say that this was the closest available hotel to the above named lake. Arrived, checked in, unfortunately no lift so we had to carry half of our wardrobe and the pram on the stairs. Got room 07 which was a good size...

Stayed here 1 night and if it wasn't for the last couple of points on the list I would've left a much better review. The hotel was being decorated and there was paint on the bedroom carpet, bathroom floor and even on the TV screen which I removed on arrival. Room furnishing was nice and staff pleasant and there was...

Room not cleaned nor bed re-made, kids running rampant in the corridor and power cuts within hotel.Security was non-existent My room key was still on the unmanned front desk when I returned in the evening, anyone could have walked in, took the key and went to my room. On a positive note, the bathroom was new and breakfast was good...

We stayed here for a night during our stay at Helensburgh and we had a pleasant night The hotel staff were very pleasant and the place is very clean. We found the room we had very spacious with a nice size en suite. The room was immaculate, but the decor is very dated and could really do with a refurb....

Only a short walk from Craigendoran railway station and quite a way from centre of Helensburgh (best to hop back on train to Helensburgh Central) this hotel is way nicer than I expected and has been recently refurbed to a good standard. My double room was large and comfortable with large en-suite bath and shower. Breakfast was very good and...

Wow! This place is better than last visit. Reception spotless and welcomed by a very nice young lady. Romm had been recently upgraded and could not find fault . This family should be proud of the work they have done. I look forward to visiting again.

We visited this hotel as it had the only room available in the area due to the piped band competition in Dumbarton and we got a lovely room, clean, tidy and modern and bright. Free WiFi was also available. The breakfast was very enjoyable. Would liked to have seen a bar in the place but ended up bringing wine in...

I have stayed at this place for 7 years. It is family run concern. They make one feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is to ones own request. The adjacent Curry Club delivers an evening meal which one can eat in the very large breakfast room. The current updates are in keeping with a 4 star establishment. The...
