We spent an afternoon here enjoying the scenary and the hikes. The food inside was excellent and great place to warm yourselves after the ferry ride. Could not think of a more idyllic location on the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond

After a day of walking we dropped in for a pint, can't beet a nice cold pint! We sat outside (June) and talked with some really nice regulars. Great view across the Loch, we will certainly add this to our list of places to visit again.

We had the pleasure of 6 days on the above tour. All 3 drivers were excellent and very knowledgeable of the areas we visited. The Hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. The staff from the Manager to the waiters/ waitresses were very friendly and always willing to help.

WE booked with Lochs & Glens and our package was by Coach from Clacton on Sea to Inversnaid Hotel. The coach trip was very long but we did have several comfort stops, even so it did get a bit weary. Anyhow our driver Andy was very helpful and was available to make tea and coffee

As my father has mobility issues I am wondering about the walk from the jetty to the hotel as someone has advised me disabled person cannot get up the steep incline. Could you please clarify as a trip is booked with Lichs and Glens. Many thanks
hi there was a few walking with a stick when i was there, they took it slow but they were fine, its more of the ability of getting onto the ferry via the boardwalk there is a handrail and the ferry staff are excellent. it would be a case of whether your father is ok to lift his feet say up a step or over a step/lip

Ring and ask the hotel. I think they allocate the loch rooms to those who book early.

I have booked to come to the hotel in September and have heard the midges are a problem? are they worse any particular time of the year? Also can you do independent boat trips from the hotel?
We were told to take Brewers Yeast tablets 2 x 3 a day a week before travelling and whilst at a resort to keep midges away. Haven't tried them yet but starting today as going to Cuba next week. Inversnaid is awesome
